  • Table tennis room with secure storage for bikes
Property code: FB267

Enjoy a peaceful couples getaway or holiday with your extended family, slowing down the pace of life a little with strolls along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and stepping it up with bike rides and table tennis matches in the property’s games room. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, this generously sized holiday home in Penally overlooks the countryside with views out towards the sea. It’s easy to feel at home here, and there won’t even be squabbles over who takes charge of the remote control as there are six TVs in the house! Cosy pubs await in the village centre for family meals together, and the nearest beach is less than a mile away, so remember to pack your buckets and spades.

Take a flight of steps up to the front door of this split-level property, which makes the most of its elevated position. Sit in the bay window seat in the lounge to gaze out at the distant sea views or curl up with a good book on a rainy afternoon. If you want to catch up with your favourite programmes, sink into the comfortable leather sofas to watch TV. The open-plan kitchen is a lovely social spot for rustling up home-cooked meals and gathering around the dining table to chat about the best moments of your day. On warm summer evenings, take the soiree outside into the pretty garden. Tiered steps lead up to a patio area with a wooden table with seating for eight people – perfect for a BBQ. When sleepy heads nod, retire to the bedrooms for the night, three are on the ground floor and the king-size master bedroom is located on the top floor, has an en-suite bathroom and wonderful countryside views to wake up to.

Perfect for a multi generational family or group of friends as there are 4 well sized double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a cloakroom. Very well equipped kitchen. We find Tenby too busy, so Penally is ideal as a base. We have stayed here several times now and return because of how lovely it is.

Good location, walk to beach is about 15mins, then easy walk up to Tenby. The front steps leading up to the house are very steep and not at all suitable for someone with mobility problems. The lounge and kitchen are on the first floor, so be prepared for the little stair case leading to them.

We had a lovely stay at The Lavenders. The split level accommodation worked well for us with some of the bedrooms being on a different floor to the living room and kitchen. The area is fantastic for walking and the town of Tenby just a 20 minute walk away. Close to attractions for family activities too. We hope to have a return visit at some point.

Lovely house, extremely well equipped and child friendly for our 18months granddaughter. Quite a few steps both inside and out, for those with mobility issues. The little bakery and village pub was both friendly and easy walking distance, lovely meals at reasonable prices at the pub. The beach was a good 20minute walk, glad we had a beach cart for all our gear and child ! Hide

Lovely cottage . Nice, informative owners. Comfortable lounge, Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean. The beds were comfy, and we all slept well, however, the property is unsuitable for those of us who have mobility issues, I use a walking aid and had no idea that there were so many stairs to the toilets or bedrooms. The property needs an 'ACCESS STATERead moreMENT' , describing the layout, so that you can assess it's suitability, before booking . In conclusion, my family loved it, and we had a great week. Hide

The house is as described and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining table big enough for 8 people, likewise the lounge. It is a 10 minute drive to Tenby, which we visited several times during our holiday - the weather was too wet to explore further afield, but Tenby is a lovely place, with locally produced gins and a brewerRead morey (Hwbour).
