If you want a place that fits the family and is out of the way, this place is for you. The last part of the drive to it will highlight that. Even though the cottage itself is out of the way it's still close to other attractions.

Lovely cottage, very rural and tucked away, yet within a couple of miles of amenities. Great for large groups who love the tranquillity of the countryside It was alive with birds, and it was so lovely to hear a cuckoo again. Fantastic weekend with my friends. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond to texts, as well as being very friendly in person. The cottage was well equipped and very clean, and one of the cheapest we found for the numbers we had staying. Highly recommended!

This was our second time staying in Pen y Heol. We spent New Year here as a group of friends whose children have grown up together. We play a lot of games as a group and the huge lounge with ample comfy seating, as well as the outdoor space, works brilliantly for us. Fabulous location. Great value for money. Many thanks for having us back.
