North of the Brecon Beacons National Park but with mountains, pubs and trails to explore close to home, this welcoming home is the perfect bolthole for escaping the everyday. Sleeping ten guests across five bedrooms, the spacious, open-plan living space is just waiting to be filled with the laughter and chatter of you, and your friends and family. With plenty of epic locations for walking, cycling and stick chasing, bring two of your dogs along too and fight over who gets the best seat in the house in front of the wood burner. After days in the great outdoors, return home for a relaxing soak in the hot tub after trying your best to become champion of the games room.

Climb steps to the delightful large terrace and head inside to make yourselves right at home. Though you are surrounded by inspiring landscapes, this home-from-home will make it hard for you to leave its creature comforts and charming style. The living space invites sociable evenings sinking into the sofas with a tipple in hand whilst the wood burner roars, and large windows provide picturesque views. With plenty of mouths to feed, the kitchen thankfully has plenty of space for lots of your party to help with rustling up a feast. Stay warm and dine inside at the large table or take your plates outside and dine alfresco under the setting sun. Continue your night in the bubbling hot tub or challenge your fellow competitive guests to a game of pool in the games room. Climb stairs to the galleried landing and venture off to one of five luxurious bedrooms where exposed beams, pretty views and sumptuous bedding create a lovely calm ambience which invite you to drift off. With three en-suites and a family bathroom, there is no need to worry about beating the morning queues to freshen up as there is lots of space for everyone to enjoy a soak and a shower. With so much to explore, hop out of bed and head straight out for adventures. A short 3-mile trip south brings you to Mynydd Epynt, follow the trails and summit the peak where you can take a moment to sit down and tuck into a picnic whilst admiring the amazing views. For a higher peak, visit Pen y Fan (23 miles), the tallest in South Wales, and climb its neighbours, Cribyn and Corn Du, too. For a woodland wander travel 12 miles to the Crychan Forest and stop off at the local pub in Beulah (5 miles) for a refuelling bite to eat.

I booked this holiday for my birthday and everyone had an amazing time. The location is stunning, especially for the sunset. The house is gorgeous, all the windows let so much light in. All the amenities were great, we couldn't have asked for any more.

Had a wonderful time with 3 generations of our family at the Fron. The house has everything that you need for a really enjoyable stay. We loved the pool room and as the weather wasn't great we spent quite a bit of time in it. The hot tub and sunbed area were amazing with spectacular views all around. The cottage is in a superb location and could not be bettered. It is well appointed and furnished. Any problems that we had were answered quickly by the owner. The owner, Debbiecould not have been more helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay at this property again when the weather is cooler.

An absolutely stunning location with fabulous views. Didn't really want to leave the garden, plenty of space to sit and relax and enjoy the views with an evening tipple! Stunning house in an idyllic setting with the best views - perfect for a big family get together. Beautifully appointed with everything you could ever need all thoughtfully provided, from ample kindling and firewood, to a Welcome basket stuffed full of tasty goodies (and one for the dog too!) in the enormous well stocked kitchen. The Fron was perfect. Amazingly well equipped to cater for a group of 11 (8 adults & 3 children) All the beds were super comfortable and the underfloor heating was delicious. The Fron is fairly out of the way but super quiet and set in the most amazing countryside for walks. The owners were on hand but not intrusive, made sure the heating fuel was Read morestocked, rubbish removed regularly and the hot tub was clean. A stunning house in an amazing location! I don't see how you could be disappointed with this place. The only downside is it's so nice, you don't want to leave it to explore!! The place is huge and easily accommodates the maximum number of people it's advertised for in total comfort and with room to spare!

The cottage itself is absolutely beautiful. The pictures provided do not show how fantastic it really is. The size of the cottage is immense. It was equipped with everything that we needed and more. The rooms were lovely, beds were comfy. I cannot fault any room in the house at all. The sauna and hot tub were great. We had a fantastic time with amaRead morezing weather and amazing views. We have stayed in the Fron before.You couldn't wish for anything better.The scenery from all parts of the cottage is breathtaking.There is something for all ages in the cottage, what with the hot tub, sauna, pool table and lovely garden .My wife,myself, our adult children and our grandson all had a wonderful time.

The most beautiful and remote, spacious luxury farmhouse you could wish to stay in. 360 degrees of unspoilt views of the Welsh countryside and stunning skies. The best way to rest your mind and body. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Fron. Lovely house, fully equipped, with ever thing you need to have a perfect stay. . The house has 5 large bedroom s 3 with ensuite .sauna, pool table, hot tub and bbq is included.
