Located on one of the highest farms in the Brecon Beacons, this super barn conversion has stunning views, and with footpaths leading directly to Pen-y-fan, Corn Ddu and Cribyn, it’s a real hillwalkers’ paradise

Tucked away amidst peaks, waterfalls and woodland, this rustic home sleeps 12+2 across four bedrooms, making it the ideal bolthole for big reunions and holidays with friends and family. Hop onto nearby footpaths to climb the highest peak in South Wales and admire the epic panoramic views, before returning home to cuddle up in front of the wood burner and tuck into delicious homecooked meals. For lovers of the great outdoors, any home-from-home must have terrific outside space too - this dwelling boasts plenty of space for al fresco evenings soaking up the last of the sun, and has wonderful views across the valley.

Grab your bags and head into the kitchen to unpack your provisions and pop the kettle on for a welcoming brew. With everything you need to cater for big numbers and big nights, this spacious room has an island where you can get an extra pair of hands on board to help with chopping and cooking. The handy dishwasher is a welcome appliance and means you can sit back and relax with a glass in hand, wasting no time washing up by hand. For an even easier meal, sizzle up the stone-built BBQ and dine outside in the seating area. When it's time to relax, whether that be in the mornings or after a day exploring, the lounge is the place to be. Climb a few steps and sit beneath exposed beams and curl up in front of the wood burner which promises to warm you up as you unwind. When returning home from days full of walks and activities, leave boots and coats behind in the designated space and head to the ground-floor shower room or the first-floor bathroom for a soak in the bath, or steal away to one of two en-suites to freshen up. Three of the bedrooms reside on the ground floor whilst a mezzanine level on the first floor has space for six guests to rest their heads, a sofa bed also accommodates two members of your party in the lounge. There is off-road parking available.

We had a wonderful stay at Beacons View. We were a hen do of 15 girls and the space is perfect. The pictures shown do not do it justice. Beautiful weekend in a beautiful place (and a great recommendation from the owner on places for a dip in the river up the valley).

Absolutely beautiful 17th century converted barn, in an amazing setting surrounded by the Beacons. Comfortably housed 12 people and a 10 min drive to Brecon village for shops. The only thing that takes some getting used to are driving through the extremely narrow country lanes. But aside from that thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area.

13 of us stayed here for a hen do, the location was amazing! The house was stunning and the views even better. Would highly recommend this place, really good value for money also. The landlord is very friendly, really welcoming and accommodating. We also had visits from the local sheep dogs who were so friendly and loved a belly rub.
