Fantastically located for a rural retreat with friends and family, this welcoming abode sleeps eight across four rooms and has all the space you need for sociable evenings or a moment of peace and quiet. A pair of wood burners are the ultimate welcome home after days spent exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, or top up on fresh air and lap up the last of the sun in the pretty, walled garden. Backed by a Site of Special Scientific Interest, you might not even need your binoculars to spy exciting wildlife who also call this place home.

Park your car, unload your bags and climb quaint steps to make your way inside your home from home. Waste no time settling in and make your way into the lounge, the perfect spot for gathering with a cup of tea or a tipple, and get the wood burner roaring to keep the chill at bay. Stacks of books and SkyTV will keep you entertained whilst you’re waiting for other guests to get ready, or post-adventure when you crave a cosy moment. Sociable mealtimes are a must when holidaying, and the country-style kitchen has all the space you need to rustle up large meals, with beautiful, exposed stone and woodwork creating a rustic feel. Perfect all year round, the welcoming dining room has both a wood burner for chilly nights, and a door to the garden which can be thrown open on summer evenings. Not only can you dine outside, but you can also fire up the BBQ to sizzle up a delicious sundowner feast in the garden and enjoy games on the lawn before winding down for the night. One of the four bedrooms resides on the ground floor and has patio doors, a real treat during spring and summer. The remaining bedrooms can be found after climbing the steep spiral staircase, as can the family bathroom where you will enjoy many a lazy soak in the tub. There is ample off-road parking.

The garden is lovely, well kept and with sitting out spaces and outside furniture. Fabulous cottage with everything you need for a great holiday. There were plenty of logs provided for the fire and very comfortable beds to flop into after a day of trail running or hiking. The utility area provided an excellent space to dry all our kit and with great routes on the doorstep we will definitely be back!

The farm house is in a beautiful location and was perfect for our stay. We were only staying a few nights to attend a family wedding but could have happily stayed longer, it was so peaceful.

This cottage is in a beautiful spot so peaceful all you hear is the birds. The equipment is the best I have ever seen in a rental cottage. All of our party really loved it and the beautiful walks along the rivers and canals which are close by. Crickhowell is a real bonus.
