This Grade 2* listed property steeped in history and stunning views is set within the vibrant village of Grosmont, simply perfect for exploring the rugged beauty of the Brecon Beacons National Park.

Located in this medieval township with the Three Castles walking route on the doorstep, this stunning property is the ideal place for a BIG getaway where guests want a unique holiday home. Retained historical features are dotted through this home that dates back to the 1600s; distinctive fabrics, oil paintings and antique furniture make this house a true period luxury. With five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a playroom and games room, ten guests can easily hide away in their favourite spot here. A brilliant village pub is less than 200 metres away, so you can head out and enjoy this wonderful village whenever it takes your fancy.

As you walk through the ancient oak front entrance that’s carved with ‘1673’ and has a huge iron key, you’re greeted with a warm welcome and lots of historic charm. Play snooker or pool in the games room, or simply watch a film on the Smart TV that’s cleverly disguised as a painting. Children will love the selection of toys in the playroom; you’ll wonder why they’re so quiet! Wooden beams feature in almost every room; the cosy lounge harnesses rich woods in the doors and across the superb inglenook fireplace. Six guests can sit and watch the chef as they cook at the island in the kitchen; on warm evenings dine alfresco looking out over the hills. The owner has even provided blankets so you can chat the night away around the fire pit without getting chilly, and there’s a mini croquet set for the children. At bedtime, pick your sumptuous suite; slip between the sheets in the seductive four-poster bed in the ‘Nell Gwynn’ room or nab the ‘King Charles’ room where you can take a soak in the fantastic roll-top slipper bath overlooking the church. Rich woods and calming neutral tones make all the bedrooms tranquil places to sleep, and you even have the added luxury of an en-suite for each main bedroom.
