This magnificent house boasts everything needed for a special occasion for the family or a reunion of friends and is the perfect base to explore the wonders of the Highlands and surrounding areas.

Sleeping up to 38 guests, this North Highlands hideaway in Easter Ross rests near the shores of Cromarty Firth with views towards Ben Wyvis. There’s ample space for guests to gather for celebrations at the manor or in the spacious barn, set in acres of enclosed gardens and woodland. Discover notable Scottish landmarks nearby, including the 8th-century Pictish Cross Slab (1 mile), and geologist Hugh Miller’s Cottage (4 miles) or explore the region’s bike trails, country drives, and waterside adventures. Return to your cosy retreat and challenge fellow guests to snooker, table football, and darts, or snuggle up in your own private cinema room.

Step inside this 19th-century manor and neighbouring cottage, where traditional country-style interiors and a warming wood burner offer a warm welcome. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay memorable, from the sumptuous Scottish furnishings and splendidly-framed mirrors to the quietest book-reading nooks and lively social spaces. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped for culinary chefs, featuring a handsome AGA, an electric oven and hob, an all-essential wine cooler, a fridge and fridge/freezer, a microwave and two dishwashers. Catch up on the day in the large dining room, or enjoy casual dining outdoors in the BBQ hut. Enjoy an evening stroll in the garden while children play by the tree-sheltered climbing equipment, or head indoors for film evenings with homemade popcorn in the plush cinema. When night falls, you’ll find a convenient ground floor bedroom and WC, while upstairs there’s a happy children’s den and a choice of stylish bedrooms and eight bathrooms over two upper floors. In the neighbouring cottage, there’s a ground floor family bathroom, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, and two upstairs bedrooms. Outside, you’ll find a vast lawn and woodland, plus a spacious barn, perfect for events. Private parking is available and you’ll find shops (6 miles), pubs (8 miles) and beaches (4 miles) nearby.
