This magnificent house sleeps 12 guests in six bedrooms. All of the bedrooms have en-suites, making this an ideal base for groups of couples and friends looking to enjoy the Lincolnshire countryside. The spacious property boasts an outdoor hot tub for nights in bubbling away while enjoying a glass of wine. Located on 300 acres of farm, you will find pure tranquillity and peace and quiet here. The nearest pub is 3 miles away and a convenience shop is 1 mile away.

The kitchen/diner is the heart of the home here, which is perfect for entertaining and celebrating together. The kitchen has all the necessary amenities as well as a kitchen island, perfect for pre-dinner drinks, or preparing a feast for all. There is also a separate, smaller kitchen that is useful for those members of the group with children or those needing some quiet time away. A mezzanine between the two floors has a lovely reading area with board games and a pool table, perfect for some of the more competitive members of the group. All bedrooms have en-suites with either showers or baths. Outside is a courtyard complete with a hot tub, garden furniture and BBQ, fabulous for warm evenings enjoying the surroundings and dining al fresco. Guests are free to follow the private farm trail, a glorious walk that takes guests around the farm seeing beautiful scenery, woodlands and dedicated wildlife areas. There is also a private lake where guests can try their hand at fly-fishing, and shared tennis courts on site.

The city of Lincoln is 16 miles away from the house and history lovers will enjoy visiting Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln Castle and the Magna Carta Centre. It is also a great place for a night out enjoying the many bars, restaurants and clubs there. Are there motor lovers in the group? Visit Cadwell Park, 13.5 miles away. Known as the ‘mini-Nürburgring’, the circuit has various race events you can attend. The lovely market town of Louth is 12 miles away with some fabulous independent shops and cafes. On Saturdays, a market takes over the town centre and the streets are bustling with life. A great day out for all ages is the fantastic Rushmoor Country Farm Park. It’s 17.5 miles away and children will love pony rides, falconry displays and other farm activities. If the weather is pleasant, take the whole family for a day out at the beach to Skegness, 35 miles away.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Dovecote Cottage. I had a 50 th Birthday party on New Years Eve and we all had a lovely time and made great memories. The cottage is very spacious. We all enjoyed our time there playing pool and using the jacuzzi. We had a walk to the local pub and had a lovely meal. The hosts were welcoming and friendly.

An absolutely fabulous holiday home, that has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the scenery and fishing lake were lovely for a family picnics. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The house is beautiful, clean and has lots of amenities. The hot tub is huge and really made the holiday! We loved that there are two kitchens, this made it far easier if multiple people were making food at once. The owners were so friendly. The house has games and loads of entertainment for all ages - highly recommend!

We had a fantastic long weekend in The Dovecote. The house exceeded our expectations. We were a family of 12 - 8 adults and 4 children. There was plenty of room for us all with an en-suite for each room plus 2 extra toilets downstairs. Loads of crockery, dishes, cutlery, glasses etc and with 2 fridges there was lots of room for all our food. We madRead moree great use of the pool table, tennis court and fishing lake. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dovecote - there was 11 of us in total and because there was so much space we never felt crowded. There was lots to do and the accommodation was to a high standard and clean. The hot tub was amazingly and cleaned daily. The house the facilities all perfect. Could not have wished to have had a more perfect place to stay. Teenage kids loved the tennis courts and the jacuzzi. Grounds superb and plenty of great walks. Proprieters where very helpful.

Our family of 12 with ages ranging from 1 to 84 stayed for 1 week. We were very impressed with the property and had an enjoyable stay. The house had plenty of space, the kitchen was fully equipped and the bedrooms were comfortable. We enjoyed the outside space including the hot tub and the children had fun playing on the climbing frame and slide. Dovecote barn was absolutely beautiful. So much space, well equipped and spotlessly clean, yet also so very homely. It was perfect for our family get together.

The property is like a hidden gem, furnished to a very high standard, very clean, extremely well set out. We booked for a friends birthday and had an amazing weekend and have already booked again. There are walks around the property and a small village nearby. Would highly recommend the property for group bookings, the pictures dont do it justice.

Fantastic stay we can't fault the property owner was available if needed hot tub checked everyday only downside the site states pub with in a mile but it was closed nearest pub was 3 miles away

Super house, with all mod cons and comfort.... more than our expectation. The hot tub was wonderful, room for six or more and with a powerful jet. Would love to return to make full use of the outdoor facilities. All 11 of us agreed that we would be delighted to be able to return.
