A blend of past and present, the modish, neutral tones of the interior design is brought to life by sumptuous furnishings, flashes of colour, and some beautiful traditional features creating a stylish, country lodge. With four spacious reception rooms and a further snug, large parties can spend time together or separately, with careful consideration given to the social and practical requirements of those on a group holiday. The grand entrance hall gives way to the main living room presenting comfortable seating with a log burning fire alongside a bar area offering a relaxing space to unwind. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle large numbers, with two range oven and hobs, two fridge/freezers and two dishwashers, plus essential extra space can be found in the separate utility room. Dine in style in the ornate dining room, seating over 25 guests and perfect for formal and celebratory dinners. Upstairs, the ten bedrooms are brimming with individual character. Cast off and enjoy fishing on-site or nearby. Enjoy a drink or a meal in one of the local pubs or restaurants, or admire the views across to Instow - you can even take the ferry across during the summer months. There are stunning walks along the coastal path or the famous Tarka Trail, less than a mile away. For days out there are many beaches including the miles of golden sands at Westward Ho! (3 miles) and Woolacombe (23 miles) as well as family attractions.

Spacious property with fantastic views and ensuite bedrooms. Loved the privacy of the long driveway. Some areas could use updatesespecially a few bathrooms and some downstairs furniture. We were lucky as we had great weather for the end of March. The kitchen/dining room is huge and easily sat 18 of us. An absolutely amazing property, the owners have thought of everything you could need to accommodate a large party wanting a comfortable, fun and quality weekend away. We had a great stay here for my husbands 50th Birthday. Lots of space for everyone and it's in a great location. Generally well equipped and comfortable. Beautiful location with stunning views. Large, comfortable house with good sized bedrooms, all ensuite. Well equipped kitchen. We were there for a family reunion and it was a great venue for adults and children. The pool table was well used! Close to Westward Ho beach and other local spots like Appledore and Instow. This is a great house for a big family group. Plenty of communal space for all ages to follow their own interests. The kitchen was ideal for groups to share in the cooking and for all to eat together. It has a wonderful view of the river, and is close to the beach with surfing and sailing activities.

A brilliant venue - beautiful/well-kept grounds with a wonderful view of the river. Lots of room in the house, well equipped, attractive features and decoration with ample facilities for 20 people.
