You can meander down to the beach; it’s just half a mile away and is lined by cafes, pubs, and restaurants along the Strand. A lighthouse sits at the end of the romantic harbour wall, and there have even been sightings of marine wildlife like dolphins and seals from this beautiful spot. The delights of a seaside community continue as you progress towards the Pembrokeshire coast. Take a day trip to Tenby, 4 miles away, a fascinating historic town with a magical array of colourful fishing cottages, all leading to a trail of land and beach that ventures out into the sea. Here, Tenby Castle stands protectively on its own rocky crag, over the town and its sailboats. Laze on the beach beside the castle or hop on a ferry to Caldey Island for some wildlife spotting.

This is a large comfortable property with views of the sea which means its a up hill climb back but not too far. Lots of room to spread out and do your own thing if you want. Walks straight from the door with pubs en route. A good selection of cafes bars and restaurants in Saundersfoot and locally so possible to have a couple of car free days.
