Set within 9 acres of gardens and woodland near the pretty village of Corris, this beautiful period residence is the perfect base for larger groups of up to 14 people, looking for a countryside retreat. Whether you’re planning on entertaining and partying, or simply enjoying some time to reconnect with each other, this spacious seven-bedroom home caters for all your needs. The games room will prove popular with challengers, while Snowdonia National Park is on the doorstep, which is ideal for those in search of adventure.

Approached by a private bridge over the River Dulas, this charming property oozes old-world charm throughout, with many original features remaining. It was built in 1911 and its bright and airy rooms create a sociable space for your special holiday. One dog is also invited to join you and the handy boot and utility room is great for wiping off muddy paws. A traditional AGA sits at the heart of the stunning and well-equipped kitchen, which is a haven for those guests who like to cook up a storm for the rest of the group. The dining room can comfortably seat everyone, whether they’re grabbing a quick snack or settling down for a long meal and drinks. An open fire adds an extra ambience to this room on chillier nights. Curl up on the sumptuous sofas in the characterful lounge and relax in front of the open fire as you all chat into the early hours. Those still not quite ready to sleep will be happy to descend on the games room, which has table football and various board games. Take one of the two staircases up to the first and second floor, with seven fabulous bedrooms to choose from. Each has been designed in neutral, calming tones to give an air of luxury, with crisp linens and beds to snuggle up in. Three of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and have some sloping ceilings. A delightful snug offers an additional breakout space on this level too. Step outside and enjoy some al fresco dining on the large patio, before exploring the private grounds which feature a stream and hedged garden.

Lovely holiday home. A very enjoyable time was had by all. Cleanliness in lesser seen areas could have been better and necessities like toilet roll, kitchen roll, bin bags etc could have been more plentiful given the house was for 14 people

This house is wonderful- really well equipped and lovely big bedrooms. We stayed with three young children and they loved all the toys and books. The Idris coffee shop/ store in Corris is fab and the local towns are great to visit. The beaches were lovely, even in November! Had a great holiday and would definitely visit again.

This house was perfect for our family. 13 of us went and loved it. Nestled into the side of a hill with the constant sound of the river running by. Lovely property in a great location. Nice in the summer to sit out, chat/drink/eat in the idyllic countryside. Fair warning for those on two wheels, the drive way is a bit steep and gravelly. Do able and certainly worth it.

We had a lovely week in this house. Party of 11, three families plus 2 dogs in February half term. We were very comfortable and the house was clean and warm. Great location for exploring. The kitchen equipment let the house down slightly but not enough to stop us considering a return holiday again.
