This cottage was ideal for our group of 4 couples but would be great for families too. There are lots of lovely castles and Gardens to visit within easy reach, and fabulous castle walks. We had a lovely holiday.

Nicely presented and well appointed house. Garden great for school age children but perhaps would be too uneven for little ones. Good pool. Sunroom made an ideal playroom for children. Lack of a tumble dryer during wet weather was a big problem for us.

We all found the house to be very clean and comfortable. It was a luxury to all have an en-suite. We were particularly lucky with the weather during the first few days and made good use of the pool and BBQ.. Also enjoyed watching all the rabbits, squirrels and birds in the garden! There are some interesting places to visit very nearby - Rye, BodiamRead more Castle, Sedlescombe Vineyard and Battle Abbey. The house is on a busy main road but this did not disturb us. Hide

A very comfortable clean cottage. We were on a 3 generation family holiday and it was great for us all. 4 comfortable bedrooms all with en-suites, with a well equipped kitchen/diner and two good seating areas, we spent a lot of time in the conservatory. The pool was clean and nice and warm and lovely views from the garden. Plenty of places to visitRead more nearby. Hide

Fantastic place, with great space inside and out, clean and simple, nicely decorated. Great to have 4 ensuite bathrooms too! Great fast response with torches during a brief power cut to the whole area. Pool and garden were used a lot for games and relaxing, and surrounding areas and Battle were lovely to visit. Including the organic vineyard! Many Read moreshops within a short drive. Queens Head in Sedlescombe within easy reach is a lovely pub too. Perfect venue for a family break. Hide
