Sleeping 18 guests, across seven bedrooms, it includes all the entertainment facilities you’ll need during your stay: a multi-functional private party and entertainment area, the ‘ceilidh barn’, where you can play table tennis, snooker and pool, roulette, and table football (as well as make snacks to nibble on in front of the TV and woodburner); two all-weather tennis courts; and a home cinema room.

Throughout, the lodge is comfortable and stylish, with a wide and welcoming entrance hall to usher you inside. Your luggage, shoes and coats can be put away with no worries about the clutter of a large group, as the house has ample storage in the second rear entrance hall, boot room, and utility. Gather everyone in the kitchen for leisurely brunches, board games, and chats while dinner is cooking in the electric 5-oven Aga. There’s seating at the kitchen island, as well as a wooden table to spread out on and a long, cushioned window seat. After sit-down meals in the smart dining room, you have plenty of options for how to spend the rest of your evening. Put your feet up in front of the fire in the bright dual-aspect drawing room, where you can be served a drink at the wet bar, or pour popcorn into bowls and choose an old favourite for film night, in the TV room with home cinema. For an unforgettable night of fun, light the woodburner in the ceilidh barn and party and play into the small hours. A warm bed awaits you, and there’s no need to rush to get up: a TV in every bedroom means you can have a lazy start wrapped in the duvet and grab a refreshing shower before heading downstairs for tea and coffee. Outside is a private garden, ideal for a summertime BBQ when the weather is fair.

Set on the remote Applecross Peninsula, this wonderful property is just half a mile from the charming hamlet of Strathcarron in the beautiful Wester Ross region. The local train station is half a mile away and takes you through to Inverness or the Kyle of Lochalsh. There are miles of breathtaking scenery to explore throughout Wester Ross, with the Strathcarron hills and Torridon all within easy reach. Local attractions include the sublime Attadale Gardens (3 miles), Rassal Wood (10.5 miles) and the pretty village of Lochcarron (3.5 miles) on the loch's northern shore. Lochcarron has a choice of shops, bistros and a pub, as well as a nine-hole golf course. It's also home to the Kyle Line, one of the world's most scenic rail routes. The nearby village of Plockton (15 miles) is a picturesque jewel set in a sheltered Loch Carron bay and surrounded by a hilly landscape. Plockton has a delightful harbour and a beach with palm trees, pleasure boats and Highland cattle. There's a range of great places to eat and drink, and activities include cycling, fishing trips and seal spotting. For more, you could go climbing, hill walking, sailing, golf, watersports, angling and birdwatching, or simply enjoy some of the wonderful local pubs and restaurants.

What an incredible home for our family to enjoy - we had such a lovely week, the weather was glorious and the setting was breathtaking..every day it brought such joy to just soak up the sounds and sights around us.
