Enjoy uninterrupted views across the valley from your handsome holiday home towards the new (2018) Macallan Visitors Centre and Distillery (3.5 miles). Go fishing along salmon beats of The River Spey nearby, including Craigellachie (1.5 miles), Easter Elchies (3.5 miles), and Arndilly (3.5 miles). Follow the Malt Whisky Trail where you can all enjoy a guided tour and taste a wee dram. There are more than 60 distilleries in the region to choose from including Aberlour Distillery (3.5 miles), Glenfiddich Distillery (5 miles), and Cardow Distillery (9 miles). Discover a slice of history at Ballindalloch Castle, Brodie Castle or Gordon Castle or enjoy a spot of shopping at Walkers Shortbread (3 miles), The Baxter's Visitor Centre (13 miles), or Johnstons of Elgin (14 miles). Elgin has a variety of shops on its bustling high street and in its retail parks, plus a train and bus station, and a convenient 24-hour supermarket. Cyclists are spoilt for choice with country trails throughout the Moray region, while long-distance walkers can enjoy ambling a section of The Speyside Way which skirts near the property. This trail begins at Buckie (20 miles) and stretches 65 miles all the way to the Aviemore (38 miles) in The Cairngorms National Park.

Second time staying at Guisachan and will be back again, location is spectacular and the amenities in the house are second to none. Ideal situation for exploring the area and visiting distilleries of which there are many in the area.

We stayed here as two families on a New Years Getaway. We all agreed that we have not stayed in accommodation so well equipped before, there is everything you would need in all rooms. The kitchen, bathrooms bedrooms had plenty storage and cooking utensils. The beds are very large and comfortable. What a beautiful house and the setting and views are terrific. The gardens are stunning and we are looking forward to coming back next year in the late spring. The house is so well appointed and is lacking nothing. The beds are very comfortable and i had the best weeks sleep I've had for ages. The most wonderful house. Blessed with constant sunshine, so made the absolute most of the fantastic outside space each day/night we were there. Breakfast, lunch or dinner using the superb BBQ, relaxing in the extremely comfortable patio area with magnificent views all around us was heavenly. Guisachan is one of the best holiday properties we have stayed in. It was immaculately clean, and very well equipped. I dont think we have visited anywhere with a kitchen so well stocked.
