This comfortable, traditional Scottish self-catering property boasts wonderful views across a country estate to the Cuillin Mountains, Skye and the hills of Raasay. Sleeping eight guests across four bedrooms, the lodge forms part of Applecross House, which can be rented separately or with the neighbouring house to form a larger property with interconnecting passage. Inside, the accommodation is fresh and neutral with a cosy woodburner in the lounge and a range oven in the traditional kitchen/diner. Inside, this property has been tastefully decorated and furnished to offer spacious, neutral and airy accommodation for families or friends. Rustle up delicious meals in the traditional kitchen/breakfast room, where you will find an electric oven and an oil-fired Range-style cooker, before sitting down to eat in the separate dining room. After meals, hunker down on the inviting sofas in the cosy lounge while the woodburner roars away nearby. Enjoy an evening of board games with the family or prepare some popcorn and make the most of the TV and DVD player available. Suitable for guests of limited ability, two bedrooms and a bathroom are located on the ground floor, while the king size and triple bedrooms can be found upstairs. While there is no mobile reception at the property, Wi-Fi is included, and a payphone is available should you need it.

Great house, great location. We particularly appreciated the wide range of walks on our doorstep, ranging from short and easy to more demanding 10 milers. We also loved the nearby walled garden and cafe, where we had an excellent review on final night. We had the two adjoining properties, with the interior door between them open, which gave a real Read morefeeling of spaciousness Hide

Bramble Cottage felt like a home from home. Great space for us all and a fab layout. The extra fridge in the utility room was fantastic for keeping the drinks cold! Will be booking again soon. Until next time.

Lovely cottage in an amazing location. It had everything we needed. We rented it alongside Faoilinn which it connects to. It was ideal for our party of 9. There are beautiful walks straight from your front door. The Walled Garden is right next door where you can get coffee and a cake or a great dinner. The Applecross Inn, a short drive or a very plRead moreeasant walk away has really great food. There were highland cows and deer in the field right outside the cottage. We loved it! Hide
