Wonderfully secluded, this property is accessible via 3 miles of private track, ensuring privacy throughout your stay. Sandy shores of Loch Ailsh can be found directly on your doorstep, and here you can enjoy a trip out on the rowing boat or some fly fishing. The nearest pub and restaurant is 11 miles away at a local fishing hotel, and the small but busy harbour village of Ullapool (25 miles) is another excellent spot for grabbing a drink or a bite to eat. Here you can play golf or visit the local swimming pool, or even get involved with some kayaking or Seascape Expeditions. Hikers of all ages will enjoy the local peaks of Cul Mor, Canisp, Ben More Assynt and Conival, all of which are less than 15 miles away from home. 25 Miles to the village of Lairg.

Two steps lead up into the property, but once inside the entire home is set out on one level. The large hallway leads off onto a selection of rooms and boasts a large bookshelf with a selection of books, games and magazines. Head into the spacious drawing room to enjoy one of these books or board games in front of the warming open fire or watch a film on the TV with DVD player. Head back through to the spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room, with space for everyone to sit down and enjoy a celebratory dinner. The kitchen features a large breakfast island and is equipped a gas range with hob, 3 ovens and grill, large fridge, microwave and dishwasher. To the rear of the property, you'll find a boot room for storing outdoor clothes and boots, and a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge and chest freezer. There is also a separate drying room. The property has five bedrooms and comfortably sleeps a party of nine. The master bedroom is a spacious king-size with en-suite (containing a bath with handheld showerhead), and a twin bedroom also features en-suite with the same utilities. Two further twin bedrooms offer cosy spaces to sleep, and a compact single bedroom completes the home. You'll also find a shared family bathroom with WC, bath and separate shower and a small WC room.

Outside the property, you'll find ample parking for multiple cars, a neat and tidy lawn for relaxing outdoors and sandy shores of the loch less than 100 metres away. The loch offers plenty of activities, including wild swimming and simply relaxing on the beach, but you can also utilise the rowing boat or take part in fly fishing via prior arrangement with the owner. Similarly, the owner can arrange red deer stalking throughout your stay.

This place is pure magic. The loch and mountains create a breathtaking, almost unreal backdrop, and the lodge feels like a true home from home. Bigger than expected, spotlessly clean, warm and incredibly welcoming, with the kitchen at its heart. Bruce and Flo were incredible hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Its remoRead morete, especially in winter, but thats part of its soul. We fell in love with it and cant wait to return. Hide

The lodge is warm, comfortable & spacious & the kitchen is very well equipped. The open fire creates a cozy atmosphere in the large lounge which has large windows overlooking a beautiful lochan. It was perfect for a walking party with an excellent drying room. The manager of the house was very helpful & onhand in case there were any problems

Fantastic, perfectly equipped house in a fantastic location. We had a really enjoyable and comfortable holiday. Perfect house to come back to after a long day's walking in the mountains - excellent drying room was particularly welcome! Host was very welcoming and helpful with everything.
