Set in a picturesque area with countryside views from the front door, this wonderful property is a perfect hideaway for a BIG getaway amongst family or friends. With peaceful walks in all directions and the Brecon Beacons National Park just 19 miles away, this holiday let is an opportunity to get together and enjoy some refreshing hikes. With four bedrooms, a comfy lounge and a dining area with seating, and a tranquil patio area, there’s plenty of room for eight guests to find their own corner to enjoy. Make sure you pop into Crickhowell (6 miles) and visit its thriving high street, historic bridge and the pub along the river.

Step into the entrance hallway of this traditional property, which is one of three properties on this working farm, and feel the welcome of warm country-style accommodation. Natural tones paired with rich woods and quaint furnishings are complemented by original stone features dotted around the cottage. Relax in the spacious and bright lounge in front of the TV or curl up on the sofa in the dining area in front of the wood burner with your favourite book. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm for everyone, and leads to the dining area where a table will seat you all comfortably; enjoy your meals among the crackle of the wood burner that sits in a fireplace headed by original stone. Muddy laundry from long walks can be washed in the washing machine in the utility room and there’s even a shower cubicle here. Come bedtime, you’ll find comfortable bedrooms upstairs, including double and twin bedrooms with countryside views and a further double and a twin bedroom with soft, pretty decor.

Awesome area, amazing views, cosy cottage. Follow owners driving instructions as GPS will put you on the wrong side of the valley

A really lovely comfortable house with absolutely stunning views but the kitchen and bathrooms just required a quick wipe over then we were very happy to be there. The owners were very lovely and popped round with a tub of homemade cakes which were gratefully received and very yummy.

Mawr Neuadd Fach is a 4 bed cottage situated in a remote part of Cwmdu, with 3 other cottages. Our party consisted of 4 adults, 4 children plus a dog. There was ample room for us all and having the two seating areas was a bonus. We awoke each morning to sheep at the back and views of the Brecons Mountains to the front. The children loved it and we Read moredidnt have to travel far for places to visit. The Owners were often about should we need anything and their welcome cake went down a treat. Hide

Fabulous location. This cottage could be stunning. Well equipped. It served 7 of us well for 2 nights. Having all the recycling and bins as you drive up is not a good welcome. Floors needed to be thoroughly cleaned from previous occupants, warning re showers getting scalding hot. Strange smell in the property as we walked in was a bit off putting aRead moret first. Hide

Stunning location and very friendly, helpful owners. The cottage is very well equipped and ideal for a family holiday. There is plenty to do in the area and not too far from Crickhowell for shops. We would definitely return.
