The first thing you'll notice on arrival is the light and airy nature of the property. Thanks to high ceilings and plenty of windows, this contemporary accommodation is always a cheerful space to wake up to. Throw open the French doors in the spacious kitchen/diner, a great hub of the house where bustling breakfasts or easy-going evening meals can take place. Direct access to the enclosed garden is perfect for families with younger children. Dine al fresco or fire up the BBQ whilst your young ones play. In cooler months you're more likely to enjoy a cosy night in the lounge. A short walk leads to the centre of Burnham Overy Staithe (less than 0.5 miles), a charming village that is a hub of the area's sailing pastime. Whether you're enjoying a wander along the River Burn or renting a paddleboard to try your hand at some water sports, the village is a true beauty spot in the heart of the Norfolk Coast AONB. Trips to the seaside are on offer close by, simply set off and head to the wonderful Holkham Beach (4 miles). The Holkham Nature Reserve is home to a foray of flora and fauna which adds to the excitement of coastal walks, whilst the undisturbed stretch of sand makes sunny afternoons a joy to behold. Younger visitors will jump at the chance to visit Blakeney Point Nature Reserve (13 miles) and see the resident seals, whilst those more interested in the area’s rich history will adore a day at the royal Sandringham Estate (16.5 miles).

Excellent property - with ample space catering for all ages from babies to grandparents - and dogs - close to the Staithe and lots of good walks out direct from the property - you could leave your car on the drive all week

A spacious and well designed 4 bedroom house. Ideal for large families, extended families and multi generational gatherings. Quiet location, but well situated for exploring North Norfolk . A short droll to the water's edge.

This is a lovely, comfy family house. We enjoyed a super 4 days over New year with our own family; including children and 2 dogs Property catered well for youngsters, stair gate was useful and plastic crockery was great too. Enclosed garden, with direct access to playing field and play park was appreciated by all, as were the lovely walks from the Read moredoor. The Hero pub is welcoming, cosy and great food! We went crabbing at Wells, walked sandunes at Holkham and even did the Park Run there! Hide

Lovely cottage with large rooms and ample storage space. Just the place for getting away from it all. Comfortable furniture in both lounges and very well equipped kitchen. There is a gate at the bottom of the garden which leads directly onto a playing field which has football nets, tennis court, basketball net and a very well stocked children's plaRead morey area.
