Set in the picture-postcard fishing village of Polruan at the mouth of the River Fowey in Cornwall, this beautiful property sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms. It’s the ideal place for families or friends who want to mark a special occasion with the most relaxing of holiday getaways. The views from the property are simply spectacular, overlooking the working boatyard and a short walk from the quay - it’s easy to imagine times past. Inside, there’s great attention to detail with everything you need to hand. Polruan is set on a steep hill with spectacular views at every turn and charming shops, pubs, and a beach to potter and explore. Across the estuary is Fowey with its wonderful literary and fishing heritage.

Step inside the stable door which leads to charming interiors, beautifully decorated with nautical themes. Kick back and relax on cosy seating in the open-plan living and dining area where you can see colourful boats bobbing about on the river while you make exciting plans for a new day. Enjoy favourite films on the Smart TV and Blu-ray DVD, staying toasty with the warmth of the wood burner. Step through to the kitchen which is compact though fully-equipped to cope with culinary feasts for your hungry sailors and pirate pup. When slumber falls, you’ll find two double bedrooms and a children's bunk bedroom, plus a family bathroom, on the first floor. On the second floor, there’s a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, Smart TV, and perfectly placed seating for the best riverside view. Enjoy morning coffees or al fresco dining on the sunny patio. Outside, you’ll also find a utility room, an additional fridge/freezer, and a convenient WC. Parking is available in the public car park nearby.

The cottage, was ok & well equipped, the bedroom on the first floor at the front was not comfortable at all, IMO needs a new mattress , it actually made my back hurt.

Thank you so much. The cottage was magical. We loved it. We are all musicians and we listened to the music of the previous owner. I stay in Cornwall a lot and this time around, really missing it because the house was so lovely.
