Families will find the layout useful, especially the top floor as it can be used as a family suite. Downstairs, the contemporary kitchen has an Aga-style gas oven, useful for cooking up a feast for all guests. There is also a separate utility area with washing machine and dishwasher which are handy for groups. As well as the two lounges, there is a lovely cosy snug. A selection of board games is provided for guests and both children and adults will find this a homely space to enjoy together. For those members of the group who are feeling energetic, head to Peddars Way. It can be accessed from the village and is a 46-mile trail running through unique forests, river valleys and right up to the coast. It joins the Norfolk Coast Path and is a fantastic trail for cyclists and walkers. Take a trip to the pretty town of Swaffham, 3.5 miles away. Those looking to indulge in some delicious food and drinks will find plenty of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs in the town. Swaffham Raceway is also situated here and has regular banger racing events. King’s Lynn is 20 miles away, a town steeped in history with a vibrant town centre and excellent shopping opportunities. Further afield at 27.5 miles away is the medieval city of Norwich. If you’re looking to celebrate a special occasion or get out and party, Norwich has an eclectic mix of clubs, bars and restaurants.

The house was perfect for our family group (7 adults / 2 boys and dogs) over the Christmas period. It was spacious enough for us to enjoy spending time together but also had a games and TV room. The roaring fire and decorations made it feel christmasy. We found some great dogs walks but it was a shame the pub next door was closed! Thanks to Sally tRead morehe host for being attentive although as everything was perfect we had no real call to bother her. Totally recommend staying! Hide

We has a lovely time af Glebe House. The facilites where to the expected standard and plenty of space inside and out. The locals are very freindly adding to.the experence.

Just be aware many low ceilings and doorways in this property, so if you are tall , it can be painful!

Glebe House was a lovely place to stay over Christmas. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were comfy. Sally was quick at replying which was helpful. Be wary if you are over 5 feet 8 as there are some low doorways!

This is a spacious and cosy house, with lots of rooms for the family to enjoy time together, or some quiet time. It is very well equipped and homely. We felt very relaxed and loved sitting in the garden in the evenings.

We had a great week at Glebe House, family with five children ages 13-5 years plus our dog. The house has everything youd need, it was like home from home with all the facilities and equipment. Also local park is brilliant for all ages.

This is an amazing house located in a beautiful location/part of Norfolk. The house is well equipped and has a wonderful quirky feel. Plenty of space so you are not on top of one another, great assortment of games, books, records & DVDs if needed. We didn't meet Sally, the owner, however she was rapid at responding to texts and offered lots of helpRead moreful advice and information. This is a lovely house, lovingly restored by the owner. A lovely house that meant all our family could get together and relax. The kids loved playing hide and seek and playing in the garden. We visited Thetford Forest and Sandringham Palace and then had big family meals and games in the evening. Also walks and a park on the doorstep. Would highly recommend it.
