Exceptionally stylish and full of detail, this is a divine space to get the gang back together for adventure, relaxation and recuperation. Whatever season you decide to visit is sure to be a delight, whether you pack your hiking boots for a summer exploration, or embrace the cooler months and retreat here for cosy evenings and a glimpse of the snow-capped mountains.

 

A true home-from-home that also benefits from some decadent details in every room, you'll slip into holiday mode here in no time. Skip through the pretty garden to the front door and step into the charming interiors. Downstairs is the bright and bohemian styled lounge, an ambient space for late-night chats by the fire or slow mornings with a good book. There is another snug room perfect for a bit of privacy too, offering a selection of games, Xbox and a comfy sofa bed. The dining room is designed for large gatherings, lively conversation and an after-dinner game of cards while the wood burner crackles behind. There is also an American-style fridge/freezer with water and ice dispenser in this room as well as a coffee machine, which is sure to help you kick start the day. The kitchen is in a long and narrow room, that is well-equipped but probably best for just the one chef, and there is a washing machine for reviving your clothes after epic adventures. On the first floor, there is a gorgeous master bedroom with a double bed and a stylish en-suite. There is also a pretty twin and king size bedroom that has additional bunk beds so that families can stick together. The garden is a memorable space which offers plenty of room for activities, a wood fired hot tub as well as a fire pit for evenings under the stars making smores.

Whatever the season, this property is ideally located to enjoy some of the most magnificent scenery that Scotland has to offer. Loch Tummel (13 miles west) for instance, is one of the most beautiful parts of Perthshire's 'Big Tree Country' and the seasonal changes are simply stunning. From the visitor centre at Loch Tummel, paths and cycleways take you up to one of Scotland's most famous viewpoints, Queen's View, which offers spectacular panoramic views of the breathtaking landscape. Munro-baggers will be pleased to know that Ben Vrackie is only 6.5 miles north, near Killiecrankie, which is at the southern tip of the Cairngorms National Park; it's a beautiful wooded gorge steeped in history and a wildlife hotspot with red squirrels, woodpeckers and pine martens, so be sure to pack your camera and binoculars. For those looking for a little more history and culture, Blair Castle can be found in the delightful village of Blair Atholl (9.5 miles) and Castle Menzies, a stunning 16th century castle, can be found near the town of Aberfeldy (14.5 miles), which holds many accolades including being Scotland's first Fairtrade town.

If you're visiting during the Autumn, be sure to get tickets for The Enchanted Forest's award winning sound and light show (3.5 miles) and if you're staying during the winter, bring your skis or snowboard and make the most of the snowy slopes in the area.

We had a wonderful week, the house was perfect for our families needs. It was homely, well equipped, incredible views and had great indoor and outdoor hang out spaces which would comfortably fit our family of 10. The hot tub was a great addition, nice spot to relax and take in the views. The cottage was very beautifully located on to of a hill with stunning views of the town nearby. It has fantastic facilities and is very well maintained. The owners were very helpful and responded to all our queries promptly.

It doesnt state that the garden is only partly enclosed, theres a public walkway through it that leads to Black Spout waterfall which was a lovely walk and also leads to Pitlochry town centre. The whole area and grounds was stunning. It rained on most days we were there and was so windy being so high up but we still enjoyed our time with family as Read morewe dont see each other often. We had a lovely week in the most idyllic setting and loved sitting in the garden taking in all the views. There were wonderful walks straight from the cottage door and it was great to sit around the dining room table each evening. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable although we found the kitchen small for the number of people.

Lovely house in beautiful setting with good walks straight from the house and gorgeous views on a clear day. Lovely house, glorious setting. Everything Id hoped for. Had to contact owner with water issue and it was quickly sorted. We were a 3 generations family group + dog and had a smashing week. Would love to return.

We returned to Inedra as we found the location and space ideal inside and out. It catered for all our needs especially travelling with a family pet (labrador) and a toddler.

Lovely week away in Inedra, great location for people wanting rural setting but close to town. Warm and cozy cottage with great large sitting room. Kitchen smaller than appeared and was difficult to have more than 2 people in at any time.
