We have had a fabulous time, what a wonderful location, within easy reach of Bamburgh, Alnwick and Berwick. The cottage was perfect, with 4 en-suites. Having access to a pool as well was a bonus, which was easily booked via the telephone number. The white Swann pub with its log fire was much appreciated and Purdy lodge cafe was great for a meal tooRead more Hide

Very nice cottage that allowed for a lovely family break over a long weekend. The welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee was very welcome and we found all household basics were provided such as wash up liquid, washing powder, toilet rolls etc. The cottage is ideally placed in the beautiful area of Northumberland.

Location excellent, pub opposite (white swan) welcoming. Pool nice and warm. Mill house cottage required maintenance, loose taps and loo seats and showers not working.

Stayed at the Mill House. Excellent spacious accommodation with four good sized bedrooms each with an en suite. Great sized kitchen which opened onto a nice private outdoor eating space. Lovely location. Having the use of a swimming pool, sauna, tennis court & small gym was amazing. The cottage is extremely comfortable in the lounge but the beds may be a bit too firm for those who like soft beds. The pub opposite has a varied & very good menu if you like to eat out. Would certainly return again.
