We have just returned from a lovely week at The Old Schoolhouse. The house itself is an absolute stand out property, full of history and interesting features. It was very comfortable for both adults and children, with a large outdoor garden for the kids to play in. We cooked several times and the kitchen is well stocked. The local pub is just roundRead more the corner and was a great little spot for a post-walk beer. All the main tourist destinations are a short drive away. I would highly recommend! Hide

We really enjoyed our week staying in the Old School House. It is a very special building which has been beautifully converted into a residence. We appreciated it being well equipped for Christmas catering (plenty of crockery, cutlery and roasting tins). Beds and sofas etc are very comfortable and we were given a lovely Christmas welcome:decorated Read moretree, crackers and a generous goody box. Powerstock is an attractive village 20 mins drive from the coast, with good walks straight from the house. Hide
