Everyone in your party will enjoy a stroll – or paddle – at Broadsands Beach (0.5 miles). This beautiful bay is the perfect spot for sandcastle-building, and when the kids get sick of that, there’s a large area of parkland directly behind the beach where they can kick around a football. For unforgettable vistas, head to Berry Head National Nature Reserve (4.5 miles), a stunning headland with an iconic lighthouse and Napoleonic Fort that offers exceptional views across Torbay and beyond. There are more than 170 acres of beautiful diverse habitat to explore there. The history buffs in your party should grab the opportunity to visit the Golden Hind Museum Ship (4.5 miles), Sir Francis Drake’s ship. They’ll also love Battery Gardens Museum (4.5 miles), which sits in an area that has been used by the military as far back as the 1780s. The area was used as a World War II Coastal Defence Battery, when some 250 soldiers were based there. Many of the structures and emplacements from that period are still in existence.

Just got back from a perfect holiday . The house was so homely and comfortable . View was stunning best property Ive stayed in . Would definitely book again . Seven adults and two dogs and a lovely garden plenty seating and had a BBQ . Thankyou for letting us book your Beautiful property .

Lovely welcoming and well equipped house with an exceptional sea view. Perfect for families and dog owners - every convenience provided for young ones and dogs, which was impressive and appreciated. With that fantastic view, it has to be the best property available for holidays in that area!

This property has one of the best views we have ever seen. The house is a fabulous property as long as you can manage lots of stairs. The kitchen is very well equipped and the rooms are spacious. The main bedroom at the top is huge but the bed has seen better days and not comfortable. Cleaning could be better as cobwebs were everywhere and cushion Read morecovers could do with a wash. Sort the cleanliness out and this property should be in the luxury section. Fantastic location and would recommend. Hide
