Soak up the sunshine beside the outdoor pool at this exquisite thatched cottage close to the historic port of Lymington. Up to 10 guests can be accommodated here in five sumptuous bedrooms. Spend quality time together in your stylish, spacious character home or venture out in a group to explore the magnificent New Forest and the dramatic Hampshire coastline.

Carefully renovated and beautifully presented, your picture-postcard holiday home is as appealing inside as out. Exposed beams and timberwork combine with a thoughtfully chosen palette of neutral shades to create an inviting ambience throughout. Low ceilings in some places add further interest while a dramatic stone inglenook fireplace forms the centre-piece of your capacious lounge. Light the biofuel fire and relax in here with your group before a good film on your Smart TV. Settle down to an animated game of charades from the comfort of your sofas or pull up a chair in your bright dining room to play cards. This space, with its French doors on to the garden, is also superb for long Sunday lunches and lively family dinners, while the breakfast bar in the kitchen is the perfect place to perch with a fresh cup of coffee and the weekend newspapers. A snug is handy for those odd moments when you want to lose yourself in your book or watch something different on television to the rest of your party. Your holiday home offers a cloakroom and two sumptuous en-suite bedrooms at ground floor level. Head up the delightful, cottage-style stairs to find the family bathroom and two more bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room. An even steeper, narrower set of stairs (possibly unsuitable for small children and older guests) leads to a double bedroom with en suite shower room and a cosy twin bedroom. The lush grounds offer ample space for games of cricket and rounders, as well as picnics by the pool and BBQs. Recline in your hot tub and share a bottle of wine with your friends; hold a family table tennis tournament during your stay or simply sit and watch the children bounce on the trampoline. There is parking at your holiday property for up to five cars.

A perfect venue for a long weekend family gathering - great facilities and amenities, and plenty of space for everyone. Well located for local attractions. Just be wary of narrow/steep stairs if either little ones in the house party.

Beautiful house and gardens, well appointed and plenty of room for the 12 of us. The hot tub was hot! The pool however, didn't feel warm at all, so only a few braved it! Location brilliant, within easy walking distance of the co-op and pub.

We have just returned from a super family long weekend at this property. We had a great time - age range of guests ranging from 8 to 80. The owners were very communicative and the cottage very comfy and cosy. Great convenient location. My one note would be that there are a lot of steps/varying floor levels due to the nature and age of the property Read morewhich we slightly underestimated for the less mobile members of our party, however with due care this was not a problem! A beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful family holiday and the owner was happy to help the couple of times we needed his input. I loved the privacy of the cottage too, it literally was ours for the week.

Stayed friday to monday end of may'22 I can not recommend this place enough, they have thought of everything. Loved the little touches of vases of beautiful flowers, had a hamper on arrival. The pool area was amazing with the jacuzzi and summer house. Will definitely be going back next year!
