Sleeping eight in four bedrooms, this delightful end-terrace house is perfect for families and groups alike. Located in a seaside town but within easy reach of the rural Devon coastline, dotted with coves and beaches just waiting to be explored, there is something to suit everyone in a large group. Party members can split and fill the days with exciting outdoor activities or strolls around the picturesque marina, before returning to dine together alfresco on the raised decked terrace, marvelling at the spectacular views across the water to Torquay.

Perched above the road, this charming property is reached by either a seven-step or 17-step flight of stairs, flagged by wrought iron railings, and as such enjoys spectacular views over the marina. Simple and tastefully decorated, homely touches make this a welcoming home-from-home. Reflecting the surroundings, a nautical theme with tones of blue, white and cream is found throughout warmed with wooden furniture. Gather together in the homely and cosy living room to watch a film against the backdrop of the coal-effect electric fire. Enjoy sociable dinners at the dining table and, on chilly evenings, warm up with the wood burner-effect electric fire. The kitchen, though modestly sized, has everything guests will need to make themselves at home. Open the door out onto a small courtyard with steep steps to the raised decked terrace. Back inside, find the master bedroom with en-suite and the family bathroom, which has a sumptuous roll-top bath and separate walk-in shower, on the first floor. On the second floor, find the three further bright yet cosy bedrooms. Behind the property, there are three level terraces, accessed from the ground floor by steep steps, which are the perfect space to enjoy drinks whilst taking in the stunning views. The property provides guests with a free parking space for the marina car park, which is 400 metres from the property and must be arranged before arrival.

We had a fabulous time at The Lookout. There are fantastic views from the living room and the outside area at the very top is a lovely place to relax. We had everything we needed (such comfortable living room sofas, plenty of kitchen equipment, comfortable beds) We will be booking again soon!

The Lookout is close to the harbour and has some fine views. In warmer weather than we had the summer house and garden furniture would certainly be used. With five adults and two very active children (6 and 8) we seemed to have plenty of space. There are plenty of things to do locally; we enjoyed the Otter Sanctuary and Butterfly House at BuckfastlRead moreeigh, and various coves at Little Dartmouth, St Mary's Bay and elsewhere. We had a lovely time. Hide

Lovely house, amazing views, clean, warm, well equipped, parking a bit of a walk. And you really must be fit and able to walk up lots of steps, to the house. Over 3 floors, and top terrace hard to reach, but worth the climb. No real garden for dogs but lots of walks to go to. We had a lovely family Christmas there. Fit in 8 people easily. I would really recommend this house to anyone who wants to stay in Brixham. It overlooks the harbour, has fantastic views from inside and out. It would not be suitable for anyone who cannot climb stairs, a feature of Brixham though. Lots to do in the area around, and ideal for dog lovers. Shoalstone beach, rocky not sand. Berry Head wildlife reservRead moree and a fort. Fishcombe Cove, a high climb to get to it but well worth it. Has a 2nd world war battery at the top. Hide
