We had a lovely few days in Appledore. The weather was particularly challenging so very pleased that the property was so family friendly. Lovely space to spend time in. The owners were very helpful too.

We were a party of four adults, a three year old, a 14 year old and a Golden Retriever. The property was lovely. Spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. The open plan living area was the perfect socialising space with wonderful views over the estuary. Amazing property for a short getaway with adult family. The social space is excellent with amazing views and we spent most of the three days in here. Great to have the hot tub as well. A beautiful house in a lovely location! The house itself is so spacious and beautifully furnished, we didn't want to leave. Everything you could need - the hot tub and cinema room were amazing and we had a wonderful girly weekend away.

This place is amazing it has everything you need for adults and kids . And the cinema room is a fantastic idea getting everyone together for the evening. The whole place is so spacious and comfortable. Even the pooches loved the stay, as not far from the sea for them to have a good run around . Will definitely be coming back to this place . ­ ­­­­

This bungalow is stunning, extremely clean and so well kept inside and out. The views from the living room and bedrooms are beautiful. It has everything you could possibly need and more for a getaway. We were particularly impressed with the new addition of the cinema room! (I can imagine this would be a huge hit with the kids too) There are also a Read morelot of nice local pubs and restaurants only a 10-20 minute walk away, some of which are dog friendly too! We were a family of 6 adults and 2 grandchildren and the spacious accommodation was absolutely perfect for our needs. A very comfortable place to stay and the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The owners are very welcoming and helpful in terms of communication before your stay. I would highly recommend staying here.

A very nice modern property and excellent location. As dog owners we have done a number of cottage breaks over the years and this was the best all round package. Being able to walk to and from Appledore on lit roads with paths all the way was a huge bonus

The main room with panoramic window had a luxury feel and made me feel like I was "on holiday". Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water were a plus as were curtains/blinds that actually cut out the light. A couple more sun loungers for the garden would have been nice. And more bin liners/bags would have been helpful. Towels on arrival all had a naRead moresty damp smell so we washed them all again. But overall, we were very impressed with the property. Hide

Beautiful property on the outskirts of Appledore, worked very well for a party of 8 adults on a family break. Main Reception room/kitchen/diner is a fantastic sociable space and plenty of room not to feel on top of one another. Easy 15 minute walk downhill into the village, and after a glass of wine, the walk back up the hill never seemed too bad!

This was the perfect place for a Devon break for me and my family. With 6 adults and 2 children, we needed a place that ticked all the boxes, and Fairways was the absolute perfect choice for our break. We took a long time to find a house that suited a multi-generational family in a good location. This definitely fitted the bill and Ian the owner was very helpful and friendly. Woah - what an amazing find! Fairways is the perfect property for a family get away. Its stylish, well equipped and the open plan living space makes it fun and sociable. We loved being able to walk from the cottage across the flats, say hi to the ponies and on to the wide open beach. Only a short drive for those not able/willing to walk. The best accommodation we have ever stayed in! Comfortable, clean and welcoming, 1 Fairway was a pleasure to return to after a day out sight seeing. We enjoyed our walk to Northam Burrows and even on a busy Bank Holiday weekend, felt we had the place to ourselves. Appledore is also within walking distance and is a picturesque seaside village. Amazing cottage. We are a family of 5 and had more than enough space. The main living room is very bright and the windows provide wonderful views down ro the sea. The beds were super comfy and we all slept exceptionally well. The furnishings are lovely and even my hard ro please teenagers loved their own rooms.
