I stayed here with my family and friends for my 30th birthday and it was a true delight. The pictures you see online are amazing but it doesnt truly capture the essence of the home. It was truly stunning, very grand and cozy at the same time. The kitchen is fully equipped and was lovely to cook in. The secret garden in the back was lovely to hang oRead moreut it. So many wonderful quirks everywhere, I honestly dont have a bad word to say. Hide

Chose the house to celebrate a 'big' birthday and, boy, was glad I did. The decor, comforts, dog-friendliness and Old Town location were unbeatable and we were all wowed. I can't think of a more special place to gather family and friends for a very special get-together. The only annoying part was leaving to go to a decidedly 'beiger' home!

This was a beautiful quirky funky place it looks exactly like the photos online. Only criticism really due to time of year both court yards really slippy so should have been salted. Back courtyard was a big let down. Really messy, chairs rusted and too wobbly to sit on. Theres so much you could do with that area. It disappointed as the weather was Read moregood & couldnt sit out the back was a real shame. Also quite a lot of cobwebs throughout the house bit of a let down but SHEILA was GREAT Hide

Beautifully furnished accommodation with comfy settees and beds. Magnificent views from every floor. This is a great place for family or friends with lots of ensuites a toilets on each floor. Parking is available but up the hill so you need good mobility. Steep steps up to the front door. We loved it though.

Nice House in a central location. As the name suggests house is at the top of a hill and is not suitable for people with walking difficulties . Outside space is limited. Plenty of room inside , quirky decor and stunning views of Hastings .

Did not use the rear outside area as it was damp and smelly, also the front area was small and not safe for children due to the steepness of the steps .We also spotted Mice in the Kitchen area. Its location is very good, and we had a good holiday.
