At the opposite side of the room, you'll find a snug lounge area with sofas facing a wood burner and a TV with DVD player. The bedrooms offer versatile sleeping spaces for a variety of guest make ups, ideal for the big group of friends in a stag or hen do. A master super king-size offers comfort and luxury on the first floor, whilst two zip and link super king-sizes provide sleeping for four pals or two couples. Finally, a family room offers a bunk bed and a single bed in one room. An enjoyable local day out is the 9-mile trip to Ludlow, a traditional medieval town with as many as 500 listed buildings. The unique market town is filled to the brim with independent eateries and boutique shops, well worth a day's exploring. You'll also find a host of buildings important to Shropshire's history, including the Ludlow Castle and the 12th-century St Laurence's Church (9.5 miles). For those who prefer a more outdoorsy day out, the hiking routes on offer at the nearby Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are second to none. Both novice and expert walkers will enjoy the challenge of the peaks of the Clee Hills, the closest of which is only 4 miles away. You may also want to take on the 11.5-mile Three Castles Walk, the starting point of which lies 16.5 miles away. The route loops around meaning you'll have no problem parking your car and returning to it once the walk is complete.

The barn was a great place to accommodate our family group of 7 adults, 2 children and a baby. Everything was clean and well maintained, plenty of fridge space and a well equipped kitchen. A stunning, clean, well equipped barn. My group of 8 adults all said how wonderful the barn was and we would love to come back again. It was perfect for us. The TV system was great, the candles, flowers and bottle of wine was a lovely surprise. I would definitely recommend this beautiful place to others.

We spent a lovely weekend at the barn with family. There was something for all ages and we were able to easily cook for everyone, go for nice walks and play games. The barn was a perfect, cosy and spacious.
