Young and old alike will love the shared outdoor heated pool and a ramble around the 15 acres of communal farmland is tranquillity itself.

Understated and simple yet welcoming, a refreshing neutral palette makes the open-plan living space of this cottage light and bright. Whether for a celebratory meal at the dining table, or watching a film from the comfortable sofas, there is space for everyone. Open the doors to the patio from the elegant kitchen to let the fresh air circulate as you enjoy an early morning coffee, or perhaps indulge in an al fresco breakfast. When the day is done, head to the three comfy bedrooms: a cosy double, a comfortable twin, and a handy bunk that the kids will love! Whilst the interiors are delightful, it's the outside space that makes this property extra-special. From the heated pool to the shared BBQ area with picnic table and chairs, careful consideration has been given to the social and practical requirements of those on a group holiday. Car parking space is allocated and secure storage is available for bikes and surfboards. There is also a shared utility room with coin-operated commercial washing machines and a tumble dryer. Westward Ho! (0.5 miles), a picturesque seaside village, offers a beautiful beach, the Royal North Devon Golf Club and a choice of surf schools, tennis courts and wonderful cliff-top walks. Bideford (2.5 miles) has an abundance of cafes, pubs, and the famous pannier market. Follow the South West Coast Path to the beach at Peppercombe (5.5 miles) or visit Appledore (4 miles) and Instow (5 miles) for a variety of lovely cafes and restaurants. When the weather turns, head to Worthy Pottery (14.5 miles). Kids will love The Milky Way Adventure Park (8.5 miles) and The Big Sheep Adventure Park (1.5 miles) whilst young and old can get pulses racing at The Ultimate Adventure Centre (1.5 miles).

We really enjoyed our stay, we had 2 dogs and 8 adults ( across 3 generations). As we were after a family gathering after Covid. As accomodation across 3 floors, gave some of us a work out, but delightful cottage. Facilities and equipment in the cottage great as we did eat in a few evenings, we didn't find anything lacking. Reasonable walk to the bRead moreeach and coastal path, which didn't take long. Great location as a base to visit local attractions. Would definitely book again. Hide

We stayed in bramley cross cottage. It was advertised for 8. The rooms were reasonable but the living accommodations downstairs were too small for 8 adults. They had provided lots of kitchen equipment but little room left for food and the fridge was v small. Nice pool area. The pub next door was disappointing, it didnt open until 5, was fully bookeRead mored all week and was more of a restaurant than pub. There was little else in a reasonable walking distance. Owners lovely. V poor Wi-fi and signal. Hide

Location was the best thing about this property. 3 children ( 7, 11, 16 ) so excited about a swimming pool, it says heated, i didnt expected a warm bath, but, they only lasted 10/15 mins on a sunny warm day was so disappointing Far too expensive for what you actually got for your hard earned pennies. Would NOT RECOMMEND.

Fantastic stay - great cottage (very clean and well equipped). The location was exactly as described - short car journey into centre of Westward Ho (beach parking very easy) and lovely countryside surrounding the cottage. Lots of space for kids to explore and BBQ was great.
