The ebbing waters of the River Wye run through the picturesque market town of Bakewell where local shops and cafes are all within walking distance of the property. Home to the famous Bakewell pudding, you can wander along the river to browse its quaint little streets with hidden courtyards and market stalls selling local produce, arts and crafts. The garage has been converted into a games room with table football and giant Jenga to keep you occupied on those rainy days. As you go up to the first floor you will find four stylishly designed bedrooms comprising one double with en-suite shower, one double, one twin (that can be made up as a king-size on request) and one further twin bedroom. Great house in an excellent location. Well stocked, and the welcome pack was as good as any and better than most. Very quiet private road but close to all the local amenities and a great starting point for our many trips around the Peak district. The house was clean and very comfortable. Definitely recommended.
