After making the most of your fantastic location and fishing in the pond, hop in the car and head out to explore. Take a trip to the coast and find dog-friendly stretches of sand at the vibrant resort of Blackpool (8.5 miles). With plenty to keep guests of all ages entertained, work up an appetite and tuck into fish and chips and tasty treats before lazing the afternoon away on one of the beaches. A 17-mile trip north will take you to the city of Lancaster where the canal, the castle and a handful of hidden follies await discovery. A lovely house with a fantastic view. Rooms are lovely and bright and the main living space is fantastic for families. Games room was a big hit as was hot tub. It wasnt a problem for us but the 2 cottage's are attached so you are walking passed the windows of the other house to get to the car and shared garden space. Beautiful house, lovely grounds, hot tub, games room, table tennis, swing ball, family board games. Great location. You wont be disappointed . We visited Blackpool for our grand daughter to show her the lights and also Michael Wans which is a fantastic Chinese restaurant.

Just back from a weeks stay at Hare House. The house is stunning. Very spacious and well equipped with everything you would need. The surrounding garden is also beautiful. The owners are lovely and have obviously spend a lot time planning this amazing house. I would definitely return.

Hare house is amazing & finished to a high standard lots of space for a large family gathering, bedrooms are lovely & light, games & cinema room was a bonus. The undercover hot tub was a hit with everyone of us. The owners Joanne & Andrew were a lovely couple & very helpful, we can't wait to return. The Marsh, Brown & Armer families.

Fantastic stay at hare house. Joanne & Andrew very welcoming. Doggy gift box a very nice touch. Lots to do for all ages (21 - 79 years old) Loved the table tennis, hot tub, pool table and boules. Lovely surroundings and a very impressive house. Great weeks stay. Hope to return soon. Thank you.

We had a wonderful family weekend at Cobblestones for a special birthday. The welcome pack was generous and much appreciated. All the bedrooms were fab with 2 ensuite. We enjoyed playing pool and using the hot tub. The large cinema screen was also really good. We can easily recommend this property. The building itself is magnificent; it was built by the owner and you can see the care and attention that was taken during construction. It is located in a very peaceful and tranquil area just outside Blackpool and is ideal for a large family or like us, grandparents, kids, and grandkids.

Absolutely loved staying here, we had the best time. Absolutely beautiful house. Loved our welcome gift too. We would definatly reccomend to everyone and would love to come back. This place is amazing! We go away with family at least once a year and this is the best place we have stayed by far! Not only does it look fabulous but it has everything you may need and more. So luxurious. We stayed as a group which ranged from the ages of 79 to 3 and everyone loved it. The owners take great pride and you can tell.
