Period property with private pool and hot tub, less than two miles from the sandy beach at Widemouth Bay.

Weathered from years of unforgiving winds and crashing sea, it is easy to see why the Cornish coastline is such a popular destination for holidaymakers. Romantic, serene, and astonishingly beautiful, the northern reaches offer surfers, families, and foodies the ultimate destination for any big celebration. Nestled less than 2 miles from the shoreline of Widemouth Bay, this former farmhouse is the perfect bolthole for families seeking a touch of decadence. Relax, unwind and indulge in a dip in your private indoor pool and hot tub, leaving your worries behind as you sink into the soothing embrace of the water. If you are feeling energetic, there are plenty of on-site activities to amuse, including a fabulous games room, playroom and tennis court.

Beneath the swathes of climbing ivy and flowering plants is a homely and inviting cottage that’s brimming with period features and old-world charm. You’ll be sorely tempted to curl up on the sofas with a good book, toasting your toes by the fire and sipping a glass of something delicious. A delightful kitchen provides the perfect atmosphere for hearty breakfasts and simple suppers prepared on the AGA, but the elegant snug room is just the ticket for a soothing nightcap before you retire to bed. Revive aching bones in your private hot tub, or pour yourself a glass of fizz and settle down in the luxurious roll-top bath for a celebrity-style soak. The elegant bedrooms welcome the weary traveller with crisp linen, and the master bedroom even features a stunning four-poster bed that’s straight out of a fairy-tale. Outside, the garden is a treat for the senses with a BBQ, marvellous views, and ample parking.

Gorgeous farmhouse with an instant homely feel. Perfect sized rooms for the whole family and very dog friendly. Having the spa, indoor tennis court and games room was fantastic for an autumn break as it didnt matter what the weather was doing. Beautiful beaches nearby, lots to do in the area we had a great time.

Great location, peaceful and nice an easy to get to Widemouth and Bude. The only issue is with living rooms which we found very very uncomfortable. Unfortunately this will stop our family from returning. The rest o of the accommodation is very good. Pool is small but probably ideal for small children.

Great property to stay in. Very comfortable and spacious character accommodation. Ideal place for family as has small indoor pool to enjoy, games room and for the smaller ones a well equipped play room. Outside plenty of space to enjoy. Not a bad comment but a car is needed to go even to the closest beach as narrow roads with no pavement
