1 of 2 traditional stone barns set in picturesque farmland in this beautiful Angus Glen, guests can enjoy a wonderful agritourism experience.   Situated at the foot of Glenisla, this is the perfect destination to enjoy the lovely scenery and unspoilt countryside.  A most attractive barn conversion, finished to an extremely high standard with its own, very unique, charm and character.

Where else can you enjoy breakfasts of fresh bread and eggs from the farm shop next door, afternoons of Highland escapes and evenings of family celebration in five-star accommodation? Welcoming you with a delicious hamper crammed full of treats, this gorgeous property is one of two traditional stone barns and has space for up to eight people and two dogs. Located within 650 acres of farmland in Angus Glen and with a delightful tearoom and farm shop on-site, the property has superb access to some of the country's most magnificent walks and scenery, whilst still benefitting from excellent amenities.

Sleeping eight people across two floors, the first floor is home to two king-size beds while upstairs you will find a further two bedrooms, including one with triple beds that can be turned into a super-king and a single. After a restful night's sleep, wake up to the resident cockerel's morning serenade and bounce into the kitchen for a breakfast of fresh eggs and cups of aromatic coffee. Boasting a muted palate and pared-back style, the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is sure to ‘wow' all members of your party. Scoop up plates of food from the kitchen worktops and place them on the family-sized dining table as light floods in from the large bi-fold doors. Once you are ready, let the handy dishwasher take care of the clean-up and head outside to welcome the day. In the summer, the suntrap courtyard is a great place to relax with a book as the children and dogs leap and play on the soft lawn. Rotate between the outdoor seating and the private hot tub and let the fresh breeze, lilting countryside melodies and warming bubbles soothe your mind and body. Relax and unwind and hop out when you're ready to towel off and come inside. As delicious inside as out, this is one holiday where you won't mind the weather taking a turn for the worse. Home to a cute reading room upstairs and a TV/DVD downstairs, all generations can look forward to cosy hours, huddled up with blankets and mugs of steaming cocoa.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage had plenty of space for 9 people and a dog and was very comfortable and well-equipped. Claire was very helpful, even down to giving directions when my SatNav sent me to the wrong place. Would definitely recommend.
