While in Poitou-Charentes, it’s imperative to make the most of the gastronomic delights on offer. Indulge in dishes artfully concocted from the freshest seafood and try the Marennes-Oléron oysters which are considered to be among the best in the world. A visit to Cognac, home of the world-famous brandy is recommended for those who enjoy a tipple.
