Ideally situated on the temperate south coast, this lovely Victorian-style villa is surrounded by a large, secluded garden and far-reaching sea views.

This large, south-facing cottage has retained much of its character through its original Victorian fireplaces, windows and charming doors. Take a stroll to the sea at Woody Bay or drive down to the larger sandy beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin. Niton is the nearest village with a public house, general stores, pharmacy and library, slightly further afield is a charming 16th century public house at Niton Undercliff. To enjoy a splendid section of the coastal path head west to Freshwater, carry on past and you’ll reach The Needles on the western tip of the island. Alternatively, walk east to Ventnor Botanical Garden and the beach at Steephill Cove.

Upon entering the cottage, you will find a delightful kitchen with an American style fridge/freezer, electric cooker and gas hob, microwave and dishwasher. The bright dining room is ideal for enjoying family meals and the cosy sitting room has TV/DVD with SkyTV for those quiet nights in. A second, larger sitting room has more comfortable seating and another TV/DVD. There is also a second dining area that can double as a games room with a one-armed bandit and a variety of games. A shower room and WC complete this floor. Upstairs on the second floor are five delightfully large bedrooms - two lovely south-facing double bedrooms with sea views; a west-facing double bedroom with sea views; a fourth double bedroom with garden views; and a twin room with sea glimpses (two extra mattresses can be provided to enable two children to sleep separately, or for additional guests to be accommodated). There is one bathroom with a freestanding bath and a separate WC on this floor.

The house has a large, south-facing garden with many secluded spots to relax. Outdoor furniture and a BBQ are provided for enjoying al fresco meals in the sunshine. There is a large lawn at the rear, perfect for playing games, and a hot tub that can be made available. In the central garage is another games area with table tennis, mini snooker and table-top hockey. Off-road parking is available for five or more cars.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Please note there is a refundable £200 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
