Located in a stunning rural setting in Devon and close to the Cornwall border, this beautiful home is the ultimate coastal retreat for large family gatherings and special occasions. Sleeping 18 people across eight bedrooms, it is a fantastic choice for bigger groups with a games room, hot tub and outdoor pool to keep everyone entertained. With spacious accommodation perfect for socialising, and the local beach and pub within walking distance, this impressive home really does have it all.

This pretty cottage has been lovingly furnished and boasts many original features throughout, which add to its charm. The fabulous and well-equipped kitchen/diner is a sociable space boasting a beamed ceiling, warming wood burner and French doors which lead outside. This is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed breakfast or more formal meal around the rustic wooden table, while the central island/breakfast bar is great for grabbing a quick coffee and a chat. A handy utility room also provides additional useful space. There are not one but two cosy lounges which give guests plenty of options for unwinding and relaxing. The first has comfortable seating and a warming open fire, as well as a great selection of books, while the second is a light and airy room perfect for catching a film or simply curling up with a glass of wine. On this level, you’ll also discover three of the beautifully styled bedrooms, which include a triple bedroom and a bunk room suitable for children, designed with nautical themes which give a nod to the home’s coastal location. Two separate sets of stairs at each end of the property lead up to the first floor, where you’ll find the remaining bedrooms. Exposed beams and sloping ceilings in these rooms and the bathrooms on this level, add to their character. Venturing outside, the heated pool (available from Easter to mid-October) is a delight for guests of all ages, while the private undercover hot tub is perfect on cooler evenings. Whatever the weather, the challengers of the group will love the games room with table tennis and air hockey, while the rest of you take in the sea views from the large lawned garden before firing up the BBQ on the decked patio area.

Great week away, House was perfect on arrival and everything you need is avaliable. Pool and hottub both warm and clean, pool cover also easy to use with the videos provided. A beautiful cottage. We were 3 generations with 9 grandchildren aged between 4/15years and they were entertained the whole time between the swimming pool, games room and they loved the secret room. Kitchen very well equipped to cater for 17 of us. Lovely memories made.

Stunning cottage, beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail.. The pool was a good temperature and the hot tub was a huge hit.. comfy beds and the snug had gorgeous sofas the only thing we found was watching tv wasnt pleasant as the seating was hard and only a few seats, as a big family we would of liked go have had a movie night. A super space for family and friends with its sociably large kitchen diner, and separate lounge areas. Plenty of pots and pans and tableware for home cooking for shared meals. This is the perfect house for large groups, great entertaining space and gorgeous lawn with sea views. Due to the style of the house, head space is a little tight in some of the upstairs bathrooms but downstairs bathrooms have no head height issues. The pool was used everyday and was a real heat trap. Lovely cottage, facilities were spot on. Outside pool heated to a lovely temperature. Lovely quiet location. Lots of space. Not keen on having to test the hot tub ourselves; other properties we have stayed in test the hot tub and pool on daily basis themselves. Wi-Fi was excellent. We were a group of 17 , family and friends, aged from 2 - 81 and we all had a wonderful week. The facilities, including large grassy area which the little ones loved , swimming pool ,hot tub and games room . The lounges,dining room, kitchen and bedrooms were first class. A beautiful area. Do hope I can go again sometime.
