  • Brixham is a beautiful harbourside town nestling on the edge of the beautiful English Riviera so access to some parts of the village will have to accessed by steps and hills. Alternatively, there is a public car park located in the heart of Brixham if you wish to drive to and from the harbour.

Stroll out of the property and you’ll find a pleasant walk down to the harbour. Within a mile, you’ll come upon the little lanes and fishing boats that this small town is renowned for. Brixham is also famous for its fresh seafood — book a table in one of the local restaurants and sample it yourself as the sun sets over the bay. The town’s pretty fishing cottages really are postcard-worthy. Enjoy a stroll in the sea air and take a few photos to send home. Of course, you’ll want to head to the beach and there are several in close proximity, including the sandy stretch of St. Mary’s Bay Beach, 1.5 miles from your door. Take in some local history with a visit to the Brixham Heritage Museum. Or join the Southwest Coast Path at the harbour — it winds its way around this dramatic coastline, allowing you to encounter the many bays, coves, and fishing villages of South Devon. Take a drive to the pretty seaside town of Paignton for example, 5 miles away, where you’ll find an amusement-filled pier and zoo.

We had an excellent time here. The house was great for our family (8 of us) for the New Year break. It's not too far of a walk into town with the usual amenities close by. In fact, we're thinking of booking it again for next year.

Great place, nice and clean and very well equipped. The house is all on one level with a large open plan kitchen/dinning area. This was perfect for our family over the Christmas period. Lovely spacious bungalow. Plenty of crockery,cutlery etc, very clean. The garden was great, all enclosed and ideal for two young children and two dogs! Was a little confused by the description though as it said a downstairs bathroom and bedroom, only to find, when we got there it is all on one level! Very close to Brixham,only a 10\15 minute walk bRead moreut as the bungalow is situated on a very steep hill, the walk back may be difficult for some people. Overall ,we had a fab holiday ,most enjoyable. Hide

We had a lovely holiday . The house is only a short walk from the harbour . The lounge and kitchen area is great the large windows let so much light in .The settee was comfortable and looks very impressive in the lounge .The decor was nice and modern . We loved the sage smart toaster and kettle .the dishwasher and washing machine were new and easy Read moreto use . The same goes with oven and microwave . This is a wonderful, well equipped property and we had an excellent time there. Great view, and an excellent location. 5 minutes drive away there's a superb farm shop, and you're only a 15 minute walk or 3-minute drive to Brixham town centre or to Coves. A lovely, spacious, comfortable and well kitted out bungalow. There are a few steps down to the wonderful outside seating area which may be tricky for less able guests. Located in a quiet residential area, it is ideal for visiting the harbour, marina, parks and coves in Brixham as well as the neighbouring towns.

Lovely place , comfy beds , lovely shower and bath . Kitchen has all the appliances and it was great to sit all 7 of us round a big table . In the evening there is a cozy real fire and music system . We didn't put the TV on once . Great walk round Brixham. Great time had by all. Thank you

This property is excellent in both itself and location to Brixham harbour. The property has all you need for your weeks stay and even has Sky Q, which means you don't have to watch the same 4 channels when settling down for an evening. Had a great stay at Wedgewood. Brilliant location, just a short walk into Brixham town. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and there was plenty of social space for a group of 8 adults. The single bathroom wasn't a problem at all - we never had any clashes, but you do need to take your own toilet roll! The home was clean, though as others have Read moresaid, not 'deep cleaned'. Great holiday home. Comfortable beds, great house. Great part of Devon. Very steep hills to get to and would benefit from sun umbrella in the very good south facing garden. Highly recommend though as long as you are ok walking up steep hills.

Stunning property and location . House is spacious and well equipped. The week we had was wall to wall sunshine so having the garden and terrace was akin to being abroad ! Beautiful sunsets ! Will definitely book again ! It is very high up so if walking to town be prepared as steep walk back up from main road . Good workout!!

Needs a tumble dryer, coffee machine, gas bbq without seagulls sitting and watching you. Clean but not deep cleaned and to have large fluffy towels 8 from supermarket for each periwig on the home would be ideal not small hand towels. Great house though and walking distance to lovely coves. Fairy cove is brill
