Set in a simply breathtaking position on the Isle of Lewis, this sizeable Scottish property overlooks white sands, water and undulating island landscapes.

With breathtaking views over the white sands of Uig Bay to the west and the dramatic hills of the Harris to the south, this wonderful sporting lodge enjoys a fabulous location on a traditional working estate. Sleeping up to 15 guests across eight bedrooms, this luxurious property boasts comfortable accommodation with a friendly feel for holiday parties. After a day of exploration, gather together in front of a roaring fire in the sitting room for parlour games or a family film. Surrounded by sand, sea and mountain, there are thousands of acres of mountain and moorland for you to explore and wander over. Spend days on the sandy beach, building sandcastles and playing beach cricket. Bathe in the crystal clear waters, hop in a kayak to explore tranquil coves or play a round on the estate’s nine-hole golf links course. Pull on your wetsuits for a surf lesson at Mangersta Beach (4.5 miles) and during summer months zip over the seas on a private speedboat ride. Walk coastal paths, discover hidden lochs and ancient monuments as you explore the tranquil Isle of Lewis.

Surrounded by open countryside and with no other properties close by, this whitewashed lodge enjoys fabulous sea views from many of the rooms and the only sounds you can hear are of sea birds and the waves rumbling nearby. Give your guests a warm welcome in the spacious entrance hall where the colourful tartan carpet enhances the sense of comfort from the moment you step through the door. The warm colour palette is continued into the generous sitting room where you can curl up on the plump sofas in front of the open peat fire and talk late into the evening. For peaceful moments there is a second cosy sitting room, perfect for relaxing with a bestseller or engaging in quiet conversation. Linger over tasty meals in the charming dining room, a light and airy room with intriguing artwork adorning the walls. The kitchen is well equipped and is of a good size so cooking for large numbers is a pleasure with a range cooker and two dishwashers making your stay as comfortable as possible. There’s a convenient laundry room too, perfect for rinsing out beachwear and swimsuits and a boot room for storing walking boots and wellies. Take the curving staircase to the first floor where you will find the eight well-appointed bedrooms, with comfortable beds dressed in crisp linens and lovely views across the estate. The three double bedrooms all benefit from en-suite facilities. Four restful twin bedrooms and a pretty single bedroom share two bathrooms and there is a further separate WC. Outside, you have a private garden to enjoy the spectacular sunsets and acres of estate grounds, woodland and riverbank to explore. Trout fishing on the estate can be arranged during your stay.

Please note there is a refundable £500 security deposit for this property payable closer to the start of your holiday.
