Perched atop a hill with blissful panoramas over the valley below as well as the quaint village of Cevoli, this elegant 17th-century villa in Tuscany is a perfect choice for large groups of family and friends wanting to enjoy the peace of the countryside with the conveniences of a small, authentic village close by. Gently rolling Tuscan hills covered with vineyards and olive trees characterize this breathtaking landscape that is nestled between Florence and Pisa, just 22 miles from the coast.
Sleeping up to 16 guests in six beautifully appointed bedrooms, the refined interiors are adorned with period antiques, Tuscan terracotta tile floors, wooden beamed ceilings and walls decorated in warm hues and frescoes. There is an abundance of space to relax and socialise within the three floors of the villa, with three dining rooms and two living rooms; one with a crackling open fire and the other featuring a piano. From the living room on the first floor, there is access to a large, sunny terrace furnished with a table and outdoor seating, a perfect place to soak up the views as the sun sets with a cocktail or two.
Outside, a large swimming pool offers an idyllic spot for long refreshing dips under the Tuscan sun with panoramic vistas of the surrounding orchards and fields. A covered patio to one side of the pool provides a kitchen, bathroom with a shower and outdoor furniture to enjoy al fresco suppers in the shade. In the summer, you will find a vegetable garden with fresh produce, herbs and fruit trees for supplementing your meals or, if you prefer not to cook, the owner can arrange catering upon request at an additional charge.
