Set within 20 acres of farmland, this property is a peaceful and idyllic base from which to explore this popular area. A short distance from the fabulous beaches, stunning coastline and sheltered coves of the North Cornwall coast. Many traditional fishing villages and quaint seaside towns are within easy reach. Fun days out can be enjoyed at the local attractions such as Port Isaac, Boscastle, Padstow, Tintagel, with its Arthurian legend, the Launceston and Bodmin steam railways and many more. A little further afield the likes of the Eden Project, Newquay and Land’s End are not to be missed.

Inside, the large open-plan lounge/diner is the hub of this home, boasting a vaulted ceiling, exposed beams and trusses and a wood burner set against a painted exposed stone wall. Dine at the long table that sits in sunlight beside the large windows before retreating to the cosy lounge area where a selection of comfortable sofas huddle around the wood burner and TV/DVD. The galley kitchen is contemporary and bright and includes a double, range style oven and hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. There are five bedrooms, each retaining this building’s original charm through exposed beams. Two king-size bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, the two twin rooms and the bunk room share a bathroom and a separate shower room.

Outside, there is a private enclosed garden with picnic benches and BBQ on request, a peaceful spot for spending a long afternoon in the sunshine. In addition, guests are able to enjoy the farm's 20 acres of grounds, including the "secret garden" with seating and fire pit, as well as the indoor soft play area, the outdoor play area and the games room with pool table, table tennis and table football. The games room is also where guests may access Wi-Fi. A highlight for many guests is the opportunity to meet and feed the resident animals. Footpaths lead from the property straight to Bodmin Moor. There is ample off-road parking available. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome, more by prior arrangement. We enjoyed our week even if the weather was not very sunny. Property owners are very kind with us. Lovely property.

The property was great as it was all on the same floor which made it easier for the children. Plenty of washing facilities and toilets which is handy when you have children. The host were very helpful and the children loved feeding the animals. (We would stay again).

We had 4 generations in our party and all thoroughly enjoyed it. The play barn for the children was brilliant - they spent all their on-site time there and they loved helping to feed the animals. The couple running the site were lovely ! Thoroughly to be recommended !!!!

we were greeted by Andrew when we arrived at the cottage, which was so much more than we all expected it to be. It had everything we could need for our week away from home and helped our 2 year old settle in very quickly. The garden was perfect for our very lively chocolate lab. Andrew was brilliant with our son Eddie and he really enjoyed being abRead morele to meet the animals on the farm. we are definitely thinking about returning to the cottage Hide
