You’ll soon see why Robert Louis Stevenson was inspired to write his famous novel ‘Treasure Island’ here. Sit at his desk and daydream from the windows of the villa which look out over Fidra Island, and watch the lighthouse cast shadows across the bay.

After a long journey, you and your guests can look forward to a welcome basket filled with fresh sandwiches and muffins. Pour yourself a drink in the bar and gather around the open fire in the lounge where deep, comfortable sofas offer a welcome spot to admire the far-reaching coastal vistas. As the sun begins to dip below the sea, you and your party can continue the conversation in the well-equipped kitchen as you prepare dinner together. You’ll find everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece or for an extra touch of indulgence, you and your guests can enjoy supper cooked and served by a professional chef. The dining room which seats 12 offers the perfect setting for a decadent soiree or alternatively, the Clubhouse restaurant and bar on the estate boasts a heavenly menu of seasonal British classics and prime Scottish steaks, along with freshly caught seafood and salmon. Six restful bedrooms set the scene for a blissful night’s sleep where you can dream about your next day’s adventures – perhaps you might indulge in a relaxing treatment at the luxury on-site spa complete with a soothing lavender-infused sauna, steam rooms, bath and mud huts, or you might like to get out onto the fairway and enjoy a round of golf at one of the estate’s two championship 18-hole golf courses.
