This lovely brick cottage sleeps eleven across five bedrooms. Its large walled garden and first floor loft conversion with additional living space – perfect for games – make it a must for a family gathering that's all about enjoying each other's company in the comfort of a home from home property. A beautiful rural area, Walworth is a small scattered village with a magnificent castle at its heart. Walworth Castle can be seen from the property, and at less than half a mile away is a fabulous local attraction to have on the doorstep. The Birds of Prey Centre inside its grounds regularly host flying displays. To satisfy a sweet tooth, there is also Archers Ice Cream Parlour less than a mile up the road, a working farm which produces exquisite handmade ice cream.

The elegantly furnished lounge is a great place to relax in, whether to read a book, watch a film, or simply to chat in after a hearty meal. If it's a warm day, you can extend the space into the garden: unfold the patio doors on the end wall, and step straight out onto the decked area. The kitchen/diner is a bright and sociable space for cooking and eating, and with the flexibility of merging the indoor and outdoor space via the lounge's patio doors, there's certainly the option of taking the party (and the food!) outside onto the picnic benches in the walled garden. Four of the five bedrooms are also on the ground floor, including the master double which boasts its own TV and en-suite wet room, and a bunk bedroom ideal for kids. There's also a family bathroom where you can enjoy a hot soak after a day exploring, before heading to bed. The first-floor loft conversion includes a spacious bedroom with four single beds and an en-suite, as well as an open space where the group can play games, or younger guests can have their own area to relax in.

We had a really good time. The house has recently been done up and is nice and modern. Underfloor heating was great. Really recommended for a relaxing break.

A very spacious and well equipped cottage with ample room for 7 adults, 5 children, a baby and a dog. The large, secure garden with patio was ideal, just a shame about the weather. Plenty of off road parking. Lovely views of Walworth Castle next door. Everyone enjoyed their stay, thank you.

Lovely setting, and within 2 minutes walk of bar and meals in hotel. Easy to get to local attractions. Worked very well for our party of 6 male friends of around 60, one of whom needed accessible facilities

A well kept and well equipped house. Twelve of us over three generations gathered for a 40th birthday and we were not disappointed. Pool table was a surprise and the teenagers loved that. John the owner could not have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend and hopefully will return.

We had a lovely post covid family reunion. There was enough space for everyone, the cottage was warm & quiet. The sunsets were beautiful to watch and we managed to grab views of Satin & her moons too with our telescope. The cottage could do with a little tlc, it has signs of being well used but it wouldn't put us off booking it again.
