Perfect location and size for an all generation (18mths-70s) holiday. The house is spacious and comfortable and has a welcoming atmosphere. Although somewhat out of the way Spinning Lodge is in a brilliant location. At the heart of the Dorset foody region you. Guess who one if you close neighbours is. Plenty of room, lots of space outside, the local pub a short walk, nice byeways nearby. There were up to eight of us and two babies at any one time. Most enjoyable.

We loved this property and the immediate surroundings were glorious and so peaceful. Very starry night skies! Spinning Lodge had everything you could want and was super comfy and attractive. Brace yourself for the very narrow lanes though.

This was a really good venue for a big family break. There was plenty of room for two families (4 children) plus grandparents. The kitchen was well stocked with two ovens, a big fridge plus a smaller back-up fridge. There were several different possible dining areas including outside on patio or in the conservatory which was also perfect for sittinRead moreg, reading and sipping a glass of wine. Wifi, effective heating, dishwasher etc. all functioned properly, There was enough space in the garden space for four children to play as well as a very pleasant adjoining common space. The location is idyllic within a small, secluded development with lots of beautiful walks nearby with the nearest the beach ten minutes drive away and Lyme Regis, Charmouth & Weymouth all within reach. Couldn't fault it. Hide

Cottage was everything we could of wished for. Lots of room, everything was there that we needed. Beds were very comfy and the bedrooms were spacious. It was a family gathering and we all enjoyed it immensely. The gardens and outdoor seating area was very good and we were lucky enough with the weather to make use of it.

Secluded, large and extremely well appointed.... all the things we were looking for. Proper good old fashioned pub 5 minutes walk away serving good food and beer. We have stayed in many places and this ranks as one of the best. Highly recommended ( and Im a grumpy old man so believe me its good).
