The Norfolk Barns consists of two award-winning barn conversions which are set in the grounds of a 17th century farmhouse in rural North Norfolk. These 5* adjoining properties feature a charming mix of contemporary interiors and traditional materials with open plan living areas and private south-facing gardens that overlook undulating fields to woodlands beyond.

There is an abundance of birds and wildlife in the area and a neighbouring footpath allows you to enjoy country walks direct from the doorstep. Quiet country lanes, ideal for cyclists, surround the property.

The Norfolk Barns are also conveniently located close to some of Norfolk's top inland and coastal attractions including the Norfolk Broads National Park, Blickling Estate (National Trust) and the stunning North Norfolk coast.

Barn One: sleeps 9 in 4 bedrooms and has 3 bathrooms

Barn One has a large, open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with wood burner. Sliding doors lead to a private, south-facing terrace and garden. Two double bedrooms and a shower room are also located on the ground floor. A galleried walkway above connects the two first floor bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom.

Barn Two: sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms and has 3 bathrooms

Barn Two is an open plan, split-level property which has an elevated dining area and kitchen, with views towards the kitchen garden. Steps lead down from the dining area to a sitting room with wood burner. Sliding doors then lead to a private, south-facing terrace and garden. There are two en-suite double bedrooms plus a twin room which can accommodate a further two single beds on a raised platform accessed by a ladder, which children love. There is also a separate bathroom and utility room.

Each barn is equipped with:
- An oven, microwave, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer facilities
- A TV with Freeview, DVD player, Sonos sound system, and WiFi
- Bed linen, towels and soap (but not beach towels)
- A complimentary supply of logs for the wood burner
- Basic kitchen supplies including tea, coffee, salt and pepper
- A private south-facing garden with outside seating area and BBQ
- A designated on-site parking area
- A high chair and cot (to be requested at the time of booking)

An additional table and chairs are also provided so that your entire group can eat together in Barn One, the larger of the two properties.

On arrival you will find a welcome tea tray with a folder which includes essential property information and suggestions of where to eat and places to visit.

The Norfolk Barns are an ideal base from which to explore North Norfolk and there are a variety of attractions within a short drive:

Nearby stately homes and gardens include Blickling Estate (NT), Felbrigg Hall (NT), Sheringham Park (NT), Mannington Gardens, and East Runton Old Vicarage Gardens.

For bird watching and wildlife enthusiasts there is Foxley Wood (NWT), Pensthorpe Natural Park, Cley Marshes (NWT), and boat trips to see the seals at Blakeney Point.

At Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads, you can rent a boat, canoe or join a paddle steamer river cruise and explore the waterways of Britain's largest protected wetland.

Walkers and cyclists can enjoy off road adventures along the 26-mile Marriott's Way, 9-mile Bure Valley Path, or 61-mile Weaver's Way.

Heritage railway fans can take a stream train ride through the Norfolk countryside on the Bure Valley Railway, Whitwell & Reepham Railway, or North Norfolk Railway.

Dinosaur Adventure Park, with its life-size dinosaur trail and BeWILDerwood, with its treehouses, zip wires and jungle bridges, both offer family fun and outdoor adventure.

For seaside devotees, there's the stunning North Norfolk coast with its sandy beaches at Holkham and Wells-Next-The Sea; the quayside town of Blakeney with its great views across the estuary and salt marshes; and the coastal town of Cromer with its traditional pier and famous crabs.
