Use this regal property as a rare opportunity to get the extended family together; with this mansion-style escape sleeping 19 there's an abundance of comfortable space. The almighty garden area offers the perfect space for a family party or get together, and the backdrop of the beautiful Brecon Beacons makes it the ideal spot for outdoorsy groups.

The antique furniture throughout contributes to the traditional style of the property and will make you and your guests feel like 19th-century nobility. The heart of this house is the kitchen, where there's space and utilities to cook for the entire family. The separate dining room seats an impressive 36 guests, making it the ideal spot for a celebration meal. Play bartender in the adjacent bar, which can be left fully stocked by prior arrangement with the owner. Collapse into a sofa in the formal drawing room or cosy snug, both of which feature wood burners, as well as TVs with DVD players. When it comes to the sleeping arrangements, you'll find space for everyone and then some. Four double bedrooms and three family bedrooms with optional extra single beds on arrangement provide space for all 19 of you to bunk down, and extra on-site accommodation is also available to rent, offering sleeping space for 10 guests.

SLEEPS 14 - 19 + 5 : A total of 7 large bedrooms, 4 double and 3 family rooms, with extra beds easily provided for a small surcharge if needed in each room. Each bedroom is unique and furnished with every comfort in mind. There are hairdryers and tv's in the bedrooms, as well as all bedding being provided.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION: There is an adjoined apartment sleeping 6 and a cottage sleeping 4, both attached to the main house. The cost for the cottage or apartment is an additional £358 for a 3 night weekend and £327 for 3 nights mid-week, and £632 for 7 nights per property.  Please simply contact us to enquire if you would like to book these also.

BATHING: Five of the bedrooms in the main house are en-suite. There is an upstairs family bathroom and a downstairs cloakroom. Toiletries, hairdryers and towels included.

RELAXING: Large drawing room with antique furniture, an open fire and plenty of logs. Television/DVD, freeview, iPod dock. Separate cosy snug room. Large bar area, with sink and chiller cabinets which can be fully stocked by arrangement. Both the cottage and the apartment have seperate kitchen and sitting rooms, perfect for guests looking for a little quiet.

DINING: A large formal dining room, seating 32 with views across the Brecon Beacons National Park. A smaller farm house dining table in the kitchen for simple breakfasts and a large function room available seating up to 90 (by seperate arrangement)

COOKING: Well equipped farmhouse kitchen, designed for entertaining with a 6 ring gas industrial cooker, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine. All the typical kitchen basics such as oil, salts, peppers, dishwasher tablets etc can be found in the cupboards.

LAUNDRY: Large laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer.

GROUNDS: Children will love the 3 acres of well tended (flat!) lawns. They can race around in sight whilst grown ups can sit and enjoy the views of the Brecon Beacons National Park sitting in the comfortable outdoor chairs or whilst firing up the enormous barbeque. There is also a pretty rose garden and croquet set.

SECURITY BOND: This property has a £1,000 security damage bond managed by Sugar and Loaf. This venue does not accept stag parties but will consider hen parties by prior arrangement.

HOLIDAY PREPARATION: We would advise to contact local amenities directly, such as shops, restaurants, pubs and attractions, to confirm the latest opening times and availability.

Whilst benefiting from an abundance of outdoor space, the property is centrally located in the beautiful Welsh town of Crickhowell. Just 300 meters down a winding road from the property you'll find the River Usk, where you can enjoy an outdoor drink at a local riverside bar. Local amenities and country pubs are all within short walking distance to the accessible property. Travelling a little further afield, the Brecon Beacons National Park is never short of walking, hiking and cycling routes to suit both advanced and novice outdoor explorers. Take off on an independent adventure or head to a local mountain activity centre (1 mile) to organise a guided hike or tour. Be sure to head out after dark to utilise the Brecon Beacons International Dark Sky Reserve status, and enjoy the minimal light pollution and clear evening skies that makes for the perfect stargazing opportunity, or take the 14-mile journey out to the local observatory. Once you've made the most of the great outdoors, plan a trip to the nearby town of Abergavenny (6 miles), where an abundance of shops, cafes and restaurants make up the perfect place to spend an afternoon and an independent cinema shows the latest blockbusters.

I would definitely recommend staying here. The mansion is amazing especially for large groups. The location is perfect and within walking distance of the village, shops and pubs
