We had a wonderful time at Eggleston Hall for my 80th birthday. Fabulous family party over the weekend and then visits from friends later in the week. It accommodated all ages, adults children and even a grandson! Stunning area to explore and enjoy.

A very enjoyable multi generational ( age range 6 years to 79 years) get together for a special celebration. There was enough space for even a very wet day. Very well equipped. The caterers from the estate cafe provided excellent catering for the evening celebration & there was plenty of interest in the area for the rest of the week.

The house is lovely from the moment you enter through the main entrance. Its a real experience with everything you need to have a great holiday. A home from home with all the grandeur of a character building. The grounds are great and the sun room was a real focal point for us as we looked over the valley, the visiting wild life and domestic animalRead mores. The nearby Eccleston Gardens were a real treat and chatting to the helpful gardening team getting tips, was a bonus. Hide

Rented the hall for three nights for a 50th birthday weekend. The hall has a great deal of character with multiple rooms for entertaining and two open fires, perfect for Autumn evenings. There are loads of beds in the maze of bedrooms and all but two rooms are ensuite. The kitchen is big enough, and equipped well enough, for you to host your own coRead moreoking contest, and easily able to cater for a large gathering. The only negative would be that some of the furnishings are looking a little tired, but Hide

The house is a wonderful place for a gathering of friends. The setting is fantastic and the house is beautifully decorated and clean. Im not sure I would suggest filling the place with children though, as much within the house is fragile or delicate. Lovely for dogs though, fabulous walks and the owners are very dog friendly.

The Hall is in a stunning setting, it's spacious and well equipped from crockery to games. It was lovely to have a dining table large enough for everyone to eat together and to have two sitting rooms and a good ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms. Our extended family loved it.
