Less than half a mile away you'll find a pub and farm shop/deli, featuring the very best of local Yorkshire produce. Within easy walking distance, it's a nice option for lunch if you don't feel like cooking one day.
There are several lovely market towns close to The Copse, with perhaps Ilkley (5 miles) offering the most to enjoy. Highly regarded for its stylish architecture and beautiful floral displays, there's plenty to see and do in this elegant Victorian town. Take a turn around the gardens down by the river, indulge in afternoon tea at Betty's, explore the many independent shops and boutiques, and make sure you pick up something yummy for supper at one of the several up-market delis in town.
If you want to venture a little further, the property is ideally placed to explore the historic market town of Skipton (18 miles) and the exquisite Yorkshire Dales beyond. It's a true walker's paradise and you are very close to the famous Three Peaks of Ingleborough, Pen-y-ghent and Whernside.
If you're more of a roamer than a rambler try a stroll around the grounds of nearby Bolton Abbey (12 miles). These striking ruins provide the backdrop to a particularly beautiful part of the Dales and are well worth a visit.
This area of the Yorkshire Dales is home to many charming villages and towns worth exploring. The pretty cobbled streets of Grassington are within 25 miles, with the village of Kettlewell another 5 miles on.
Visiting the gorgeous town of Harrogate (16 miles) is a must during your stay here. Encircled by its famous 'Stray' or '1000 acres' of horseshoe-shaped grassland, Harrogate has a bright and breezy open-air feel and is characterised by its impressive floral displays. As you would expect of such a bustling upbeat town, Harrogate boasts over 300 bars and restaurants together with all the shops, swimming pools, cinemas, parks and gardens you could ever wish for.
