Uig is in a great location to access the very best of Skye, reaching the variety of lovely coastal villages and the fascinating historical and natural features across the island.

Fresh white walls and warm wooden floors together with the large double height windows create a feeling of space, light and home. The impressive structure is paired with beautifully presented decor to make a home perfect for relaxation. An open-plan layout greets you on the ground floor, starting at the spacious and unique living room. Sit back on the comfortable sofas in front of the full height woodburner and socialise with the sound of crackling flames and the scenic backdrop of the glen. Up a set of steps you’ll find the fully-equipped kitchen/diner which allows you to unleash your inner chef and easily prepare a wonderful meal for everyone to enjoy. Two light and airy bedrooms are situated on the ground floor, including a double bedroom with a stylish en-suite shower room and a colourful twin room that has access to the bathroom. Up the stairs you’ll find the Minstrel Gallery with informal seating and calming views from the large windows. Lovingly decorated for peaceful nights of rest, the master king size bedroom also has an en-suite shower room to freshen up for the day ahead. The final room is a delightful family room which has a double and single bed as well as Velux windows facing the picturesque glens. Indulge in a meal out at one of the friendly local eateries in Uig, and visit the shops and brewery. If you fancy heading out for a walk after, then the idyllic Fairy Glen is less than 1 mile away and boasts magical scenes of grassy banks, rocky outcrops and still lakes, as well as the impressive Castle Ewen. Plenty of other walks are close at hand such as the Old Man of Storr and Quiraing. Visit Dunvegan and its renowned castle, or stroll along the glorious coral beaches in Claigan. Further south you’ll find Portree, the capital of the Isle of Skye with its amenities including a cinema and a swimming pool.

What an amazing place to stay! It was superb from start to finish and we did not want to come home!! Lovely living room with kitchen overlooking it. Wow.. this cottage is absolutely stunning, great location. We were thrilled from the moment we stepped In, it's even more stunning than the pictures show. We stayed here Oct, when we arrived the under floor heating was making it super snug, we made use of the wood burner too. A beautiful home in an amazing location!! We were a family of 3 generations and the house was perfect for us, ample bedrooms & bathrooms for us all, a lovely big garden for the children to play in. Perfectly situated between the Uig hotel for delicious food and the Fairy Glen, perfect to take the children in the evening to burn off some energy afteRead morer everyone else had gone home. An absolutely fantastic house in a lovely location. The house was well equipped for everything you need for a largish family holiday. Pet friendly and a very large enclosed garden which was great. The heating was a slight problem as the house was far too hot and difficult to get the temperature down which was mad considering we were there during a Read morevery heavy snowfall!! This was an absolutely fantastic place to spend a week over Christmas. It was warm, spacious and has everything we might need. A perfect location to explore Skye, with some fantastic walks in the area. Loved our stay and would definitely come back!

We were a party of 6 over 50s and 60s. Loved the house , very well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Views amazing ! Location great but the hill from the main road was too steep for a disabled person and her mobility scooter. Needed the car to go to pub! Other than that, I highly recommend this stunning house.

What an impressive property! The living area has a double height glass wall, the views of the countryside are breathtaking, we had eagles soaring everyday. Its 5 minutes walk to the fairy glen which is lovely to visit especially in the evening when its quieter. The approach to the cottage has a brand new road which was great.
