This charming country lodge near Lairg is the perfect place for a taste of Highland spirit. Set in a protected environment area on a Scottish estate, sporting parties and families can enjoy traditional country pursuits, intimate gatherings and celebrations. Sleeping 13 guests across seven bedrooms, there’s ample space to relax or to try a variety of activities including photography in the Reay Forest, trout fishing on the estate in season, and salmon fishing on the River Laxford. Or soak up the spectacular hill and loch views from the comfort of the cosy lodge. With a helpful housekeeper available on site, you are bound to enjoy the most comfortable of stays.

Step inside your cottage where there’s a welcome entrance hall and stone-flagged floors. Relax by a roaring open log fire in the drawing room while absorbing the history of the lodge and its dreamy loch views. Enjoy music or a good book in the living room or study where there’s a TV and DVD player. Cooks in your party will love the kitchen with its four-oven Aga, double electric oven and hob, American-style fridge-freezer, and pantry. Gather in the dining room and chat by the open fire, or find your own quiet corner to catch up on a good book. Curl up in the cosy bedrooms where the only noise is an owl or a roaring autumn stag. You’ll find two twin bedrooms downstairs (one en-suite), and five further bedrooms upstairs (two en-suite). There’s a handy drying room with a WC, a utility room on the ground floor, two family bathrooms upstairs and the bonus of a housekeeping service each day.
